^^LOL! I sometimes think people on here hate the new Marni on principle alone, and then they come out with a campaign like this. How can anyone defend this? Yes, I like the womenswear here (especially that handpainted dress), and I like the Japanese setting that looks like it was scouted purely for a 'real' and 'normcore' (sic) feel, but why the downright atrocious and annoying effects and poses? It's as though they saw what Gucci did (which was bad enough) and thought, 'let's take it up a notch!'.

So pretentious....
I guess it’s « arty »....
All that fuss for a simple tote bag...
That being said, the guy looks great! That little pout he is giving in the 3rd photo is hilarious and quite sexy.

If you squint, the tote looks like a cheap paper bag in each of the pictures.
I haven't seen such a dreadful campaign in quite some time. I'd be embarrassed of having this inside my portfolio or social media or anywhere people could see my name attached to it. Yikes!

^^^ No need to squint to see just how basic, generic and pedestrian the tote looks— it's like the most basic bag you can pick up at any mid-range department store. And the photography look like a bunch of TikTok shots. And I don’t care if God shot this, fisheye lens deserve eternal damnation.

This brand is so painfully embarrassing now: From the silly clothes/accessories/footwear to the generic campaigns/shows. Marni’s devolved into infantwear.
