Marni S/S 09 Milan

you guys are tryign WAY too hard to find alterier influences
marni has always been like prada
i dont get why you have to justify youre opinions with the fatc that it looks liek KANEMXMJPRADAMIUMIU
when it doesent look like half the crap you are naming

i can understand people not like the marni aesthetic, but has it really taken you guys all this time and you still dont UNDERSTAND it?

incredible collection. virtually flawless imo.

also, since when have designers NOT been influenced by each toher

i also love the fact that some of you are sayign this is influenced by marc jacobs when he is the KING of "influences"

OMG.. Marni is my favorite so far. The colors and patterns are so rich, a lot of pieces can be wore with some basics and let the prints do all the work, the accesories are awesome. I wish she take a bit more risks with colour in the men collection. But still LOVE IT.

am i the only one who finds 95% of this to be appalling?

i can't seem to grasp whether it's the stylings or what. but, aside from a select few pieces i say 'thanks, but no thanks'

no you're not alone at all, i find this absolutely hideous!

the prints are horrid- like regurgitated paint tins, and speaking of regurgitated- isn't this just reconstituted previous Marni collections, Marc Jacobs, Prada etc?

even the giant neckpieces are very much Lanvin but in plastic.

i seriously find this awful :yuk:
