Matthieu Blazy - Designer, Creative Director of Bottega Veneta

Rumours were the Wertheimers wanted Nicolas after Karl and offered him a large retainer after he left Balenciaga, to keep him available in case of Karl's departure. Just to stay at home, travel and wait the call.
I don't know if he accepted the deal, probably not.
Interesting!
I always thought Nicolas was heading directly to Vuitton after Balenciaga because Delphine wanted so badly to have him at LVMH.

Respecting of course the non compete that he most probably had (no Nicolas during fw13 and ss14), which allowed him to have a well deserved vacation visiting Japan.

Plus he got 40 millions from his Balenciaga shares Kering had to buy back when he left.

Poor Chanel customers, they are going to sweat with their "new" PVC tailleurs!
Karl did them in 2008 and funningly it was produced lol.
In reality, Karl explored so many things at Chanel that I don’t think people will be surprised.
Even if I doubt it will happen, if he wants to explore the most minimalist/monacal side of Chanel, Karl explored it too in the late 90’s.

You shouldn’t say poor customers because when you look at some of the outfits worn by clients at shows in recent years, a reset is needed lol.

I know; but my comment was because of PVC...that sticky, humid, sweat-inducing gross material used as fabric!

yes but you wont stop these clients that like layering pyling on logo and chanel collections on like a xmas tree lol

also Blazy is no stranger to this crime himself his BV shows looks are layers of modern overdesignand beautiful craft combined all in one explosion of expensive meaningless vomit.

not sure he is the clean up crew grand editor type chosen for this reason at Chanel, actualy i think they like that he is a explosion of idea´s beacuse it feels closers to KL Chanel output
