This is looking quite nice...

BTW don't link the source, write fashionologie.com instead

This is the first time I'm looking at a McQ collection and am actually seeing the connection to the Alexander McQueen label. It's innovative and quite nice even if the colors hurt my eyes.

the dresses are perfect, i would wear almost all of them myself

I really like some of the pieces. The prints and the draped pieces are very cool. Thanks, noonfashion. :flower:

very tron, with a lot of femininity and mcqueen feel here and there. i acutally really like it

GORGEOUS. It does look like it's part of the McQueen empire. Sometimes McQ doesn't look very mcqueen-ish but this is stunning. I love everything.

WHAT? Resort collections for diffusion lines? Im a bit

In the beginning this season got created so wealthy people could have something summery to wear during the FW season and now I think theyre just churning new clothes just to sell more (Im not complaining, but its a bit weird)

VERY bold color palette. I think Ive never seen that pink before (though its befitting for McQ, I dunno why they tend to go for fluo). The prints reminded me a bit of SS03 which is my fave season ever and those scuba-dresses are a WIN!

^It's Gucci Group/PPR for you.

I love the Optical Illusion of some of the pieces, creating a more slimline figure.

I'm also going to echo comments of other members and agree that this is the first McQ collection that has enormous links to its Mainline partner, this is due to the fact that the McQ label has now been bought in house for the first time since its launch.

I believe this is the first McQ collection designed in house and not by a license, which explains why it has been abandoned as a premium denim/streetwear line and has evolved into a true diffusion collection. It genuinely speaks to the McQueen ouvre and clearly carves out their specialty in attention grabbing, body conscious dresses and tailored separates. This will give Herve Leger and Versus a run for their money. I am curious to see what price point these clothes retail at and what the production quality is like.
