The possibility of Natasha Poly becoming number 1 is so 2008/2009. She was a constant contender but when she had her peak another model was just a little more in demand and got the right contracts. Sasha didn't quit modelling either when she lost the battle, right? Get over it...


And let's face it, with her "unique" looks and attitude, Freja Beha has more chances to become iconic than Natasha who is "just" one of the pretty, sexy girls.

Uhm, has Natasha quit modeling? NO. Natasha is a great sexy girl, as is Isabeli and many other girls in the icons list and other lists as well. Just saying, Lara Stone is a good model and all, but I believe Natasha owns that number one spot.

^That's my point, being number one or not will not refrain her from working. And it seems like she is getting some nice campaigns again, right? Do you really need the recognition of models.com if you can see it in magazines?

There you go, the Icons list is missing a cool girl, a "rebel" as they call Freja.
She doesn't have by far the most views as long as I can think on tFS out of nowhere...

You're kind of right, models.com list isn't that credible...it's probably all relations if anything. But it'd be nice to see Natasha have that number one spot, she's already a number one to a lot of designers and other models, she's a force to reckon with, it will be sad when she decides to stop doing shows.

it's because, the same models appear on their cover. UGH! Always Lara, Isabeli, Anja etc etc


Isabeli only got her 4th vogue cover in more then a decade, that she has been working!
and maybe im wrong but anja has only got one VP cover

Isabeli has only had FOUR Vogue covers?!? you mean, four Vogue Paris covers, or literally four covers of any international VOGUE period? if that's the case, it just seems absolutely absurd! i'm not the biggest fan of Isabeli's, but the girl has been working constantly for a damn decade. she's always getting tons of campaigns and editorials. she's been very successful in high fashion and in commercial stuff like SI. i mean, she does it all.

She most certainly has more than 4, I think just 4 Vogue Paris covers. The one magazine that she hasn't had a cover of is British and Italian Vogue I believe.

Anais at Trump..Nayasha at Marilyn...Gertrude at IMG...Emily Baker at DNA ...Kristina S at Women...Hanaa at IMG, Kate King at Ford...Carola at One...mega-wanted girls logging piles of blue chip options right this minute. 5 of this group of 8 is speeding towards the Top 50 with the other 3 flashing "pending". The bookings of the past month truly reflect the fact that clients have been choosing girls who weren't "over-exposed" on the Fall 11 runways. Which makes the anticipation for the Prada (newbies mixed with a Top 50 force) and Balenciaga line-up all the more keen....

Ugh Simon is turning into the Sasha of the mens list. Long-running contract (Givenchy), then steady blue-chip bookings, and covers but still never made it to the top. I hope he hasn't hit his peak.
