^There are a lot of people who find Lara and Doutzen sexy but the list is down to opinion, it's not something your can measure with covers and ad campaigns like the top 50. There are girls there who don't fit my idea of what is sexy but I can see why they appeal to other people in that way. I think Freja is sexy and deserving of a place but I know some people will shudder at that suggestion.

Isn't the sexy list based on the kind of/how much "sexy" work that model gets? Victoria's Secret,GQ etc...Bar Refaeli,Marisa Miller who are known as sex symbols were moved off the list because they do not work much anymore.

since models.com never put Sasha back in 2008 as No.1
and put Raquel instead, clearly Sasha has never been played fairly
so I doubt they'd move her up, if so it would be miracle

Agree!IMO,Sasha should move up to NO.3 ,and Anja should replace Natasha,because Anja has enough major word to become a no.2 with Freja.
What's more, Natasha just had Roberto Cavalli 、H&M and Givenchy in 2011 which were less than Anja had in 2011.

ikr, I love Natasha but Sasha has ALWAYS been getting getting tons of Campaigns per season. It always bothering why They give Sasha such injustice and the more she works and gets campaigns the more they pull her down
back in 2008 when Sasha's work was literally everywhere, LOL putting Raquel as No.1 was a Joke


and Sasha LOWER than Joan Smalls who doesnt have a single magazine cover and LOWER than Abbey who only got Gucci and isn't doing much these days, though I think Abbey will move down soon as she is more concentrating in her music career and is not that much in demand.

With the removal of Lily Donaldson, Jessica Stam and co I feel like the top 50 is full of models who book/booked decent campaigns. For me it could be a Top 20 only as most of the models from 20-30 have not really earned their spot.

Besides maybelline dropped her after her pregnancy came about and I doubt they would pick her upup now.

I had no idea Jourdan was gonna get Maybelline. Is that hearsay, or a fact? If true, it may have been a blessing in disguise for her fans, because everyone knows when a model lands a big contract like that, their high fashion career starts to dissappear.

Yea, she doesn't do sexy stuff now. She used to when she was an angel and covering GQ and such. I think she's still sexy but i think that list is about the sexy work the models do.

How long has Lara been number one now? Once her contract with Calvin Klein is over and she still books good campaigns (I'm sure she will) she should make room for a new number one. At the moment Freja would be the obvious replacement but I think she had her new peak in 2010 so it would be weird to give her the first spot but since there is no other more befitting choice it should be her I guess.

Then it would be

5. Abbey Lee Kershaw, Arizona Muse (by then she will have a beauty contract for whatever reson)
4. Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss
3. Sasha Pivovarova
2. Anja Rubik, Natasha Poly
1. Freja Beha Erichsen

Abbey Lee shouldn't be in the top 5 based on this and last season.

ETA: Just realized that Abbey is actually not doing bad.

but anja didn't have much more cover and major campaigns than freja.
she didn't have VI and VUK cover which freja had have,and she didn't get some major campaigns like LV Valentino and chanel which freja had have.
but freja didn't get many fragrance campaigns which anja had have many.
so,it's hard to choosing.

Karlie has beauty campaigns and still doing many editorial works
while Abbey hasnt been doing much for the past months

It is said that lara have contract with Calvin Klein for two years,so maybe SS12 will be the last season she exclusive for Calvin Klein.
But i think maybe she will be in icon list when all the Campaigns come out.Maybe September.

If it were up to me both Abbey and Joan wouldn't be in the Top 5. Abbey for the sole reason that I think she's giving up modeling and focusing on her band. But as long as she's still landing covers she's allright at #5.
Freja definitely should be No. 1 after Lara. Rumour has it she got the Vogue UK September cover and just like Lara she is becoming more and more of a celebrity that is known outside of the fashion world, too.
IMO Karlie (or am I the only one thinking that girl is EVERYWHERE? except in VP of course) should be at No. 3 and Sasha at 3 or 4.
