I asked my guy friends what they think of Freja and they said she is attractive.
Freja in a way is like Lara, very appealing maybe in a different way but still
appeals to both men and women. I think this is important too

I can't even think of what Freja hasn't to get the No. 1 status
check out MDC's recent prep up model life feature for Freja

I know everyone agrees that Freja will take No. 1 !!!

Karmen Padaru has done more than Joan, has editorial and Vogue Covers
I'd take out Joan out of Top 5 and place Karmen Pedaru or Constance
and its not about because she is a minority

she has Estee Lauder ? so does Liu and Constance
Monika in a long run may place Top 5 , Anna Jagodzinska and Miranda Kerr will be dropped from
Top 10 soon and replaced by Saskia and Daphne, Aymeline may move under Top 15
Aymeline is one of the "IT" Girls of the moment

Okay first off, I agree with you about Freja being #1, but you repeatedly say the same things in each post about her, you might as well copy & paste the same post everyday!!!

Second, if your comparing all three EL girls, then Joan has them beat. Her career is much more blue chip than Constance & Liu. Her past two campaign seasons haven't just been Estee Lauder, she has been fronting Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, Stella McCartney, and much more. Constance has had some high accolades in fashion, but her career is turning very commercial very fast (like Hilary Rhoda). She is a regular for Bally & Nine West, but those are not blue chip. As for Liu(who I love), her campaign & editorial work simply do not match up with Joan's. She had that Dolce campaign last season, and thats the most blue chip campaign she has ever landed.

And lets look at their regular magazine appearances, shall we?:

Joan Smalls-
US Vogue regular
French Vogue regular
V regular
W regular

Constance Jablonski-
obscure Vogues (not big Vogues like US, UK, VI, VP)
Numero regular

Liu Wen-
Vogue China regular
Numero China regular

Its okay not to like a model, but you gotta give credit where credit is due.

joan has been doing pretty well lately. she is everywhere, vogue us, vogue paris, vogue italia and of course that huge estee lauder contract. they should move natasha out of the top 5 bc she is pretty much the weakest girl out of the top 5.

theres no way they gonna move lara anytime soon. just this month alone, she has vogue nippon, id, the new york time magazine. she is everywhere. and of course her presence in vogue us is huge.

Lara will be moved to the icons list this year, by the end of this year
MDC is now prepping up Freja big Time !

I believe Freja will taker No. 1 spot. Natasha will be staying in Top 5
if she still gets campaigns and work and maybe moved to the icons next year or 2 years from now
maybe Anja too although she fits more staying as a money girl
you don't need to be number 1 to be an icon
MariaCarla, Malgosia, Isabeli and of course Natalia

The Future Top 5 once some of the Top 5 are on the icons list will be like

1 Freja
2 Karlie
3 Arizona
4 Karmen
5 Jac

* Constance, Joan
Daphne can reach Top 10, Baby Daphne is still in demand

I love Sasha but was never played fairly by MDC so I won't be surprise if they pull her from Top 5 even with 8 campaigns and vogue Paris
Abbey's peak has passed, she doesnt have lasting power imo

Liu has CK, thats very big blue chip
Joan is not a French Vogue regular

Jac is steadily gaining momentum

Karlie is becoming very beautiful woman although some of
campiagns she's not doing much these season that can easily turn.
A young Angela Lindvall in the making.

Karmen has lasting power, one of the few girls
that will stay for a long time modeling

only few of the new models have potential for top 5
like Aymeline , Saskia who are great models

, it's too early to tell if Daphne can reach Top 5
but Daphne for sure will crack Top 10

I think the new number one will be Freja, but she won't last very long at the top. Based on work alone it should be Arizona, but she doesn't have the longetivity. Therefore it'll be Freja. But NOT because she appeals to both men and women. lol I just think that's who MDC will put at the top.

Arizona and Karmen don't have longetivity and neither does Karlie really... When you say longetivity I think about Sasha, Natasha, and Anja.

I think Daria has the potential to make it to the top 10... I think her career is only just beginning and she has a long road ahead of her. A nice, smooth road, that is.

Karmen ? No Longevity ? she is one the last newer Girls that have Longevity

Karlie has been modeling since 14 and has only gotten better
I see her doing more commercial works in the near future also

Arizona has massive print work and support from major photograhers
and of course Vogue editor supports, the difference with Arizona from say Carolini is because she has something special, Arizona has potential longevity

Anja and Natasha have been doing modeling for longer and the are older
thus you can't compare them yet with Karlie, Karmen .
Natasha has been modleing since 2000 and Anja has even more experience as
an old age model 30 years old.

^^Are you sure Jac has longevity?When was the last time she worked with Meisel, Testino or M&M?I have to admit that she' pretty(She's in my top 10) but so what?She's not versatile at all,her appearance in vogue is very limited (I'm not saying she's not in demand),maybe 1 page in vogue US every 6 months.She's more of a runway girl.maybe venturing to the commercial market at a later point of her career life can do her good.
