So far, Joan has the best resume as the young colored face in business. Liu Wen? I dont think her appeal could last that long. She did not have too much Vogue coverages except Vogue China. As far as I know, she did a lot Elle-ish, Numero-ish stuffs. Meanwhile, I think she has too narrow campaign space, the biggest names she did were Calvin Klein, Estee and Dolce, and she has fellow faces to join with. Liu Wen will follow Du's steps. The only reasons why brands take few Chinese faces for catwalk and campaign is just because of the booming and yet crazy stupid luxury market in China. And, those faces are replaceable, just like the situation in Japan, luxury brands prefer the Caucasian faces. I am not a racist, let's face it. Joan has done pretty well.
