It’s time for Grace Hartzel to return to the Industry Icons list.
Lea T. isn’t an icon and isn’t relevant, but we all know why she’s there...

If they removed Cat McNeil, they should also remove Cameron Russell.
Rebecca Longendyke should be moved to the Industry Icons list (if Jill is on there, why not her?).


Karolina Kurkova should be reinstated to the Icons list. If Carmen Kass is still on it, Karolina should be too. Karolina is like Jessica Stam, they may not be working on major campaigns anymore, but they’ve accomplished significant milestones in their fashion careers.

Who cares about MDC rankings nowadays? It was interesting in 2000s, but no more in 2020s and so far…

No shade here... but I don't understand, for example, why models like Abby Champion, Alex Consani and Emily Ratajkowski are considered New Supers and models like Isabeli Fontana, Mica Arganaraz, Raquel Zimmermann and Sasha Pivovarova are just Icons.

EmRata has almost 30M Insta followers, Abby is married to a Schwarzenegger and Alex is a just a sensation. No one out of the fashion world knows about Sasha, Industry Icons is just the right place for her and the others,

How can someone stop being an icon or a legend? That doesn’t make sense to me.

Honestly, I don’t think most agents even care about MDC anymore, especially since agencies collectively stopped uploading their show packages there. I remember way back when I was a young intern, having to label the front and back images of each digital showcard before sending them to the MDC team so they could upload everything correctly, lol.

She only has 13 jobs, among which just 5 shows on MDC since 2024. MDC writes for hotlist requirements: "These are the girls who conquered the runways, snagged spots in the very best campaigns and lookbooks and made editorial waves in top tier magazines - all within a season or two".
