MDC (Models.com) Rankings

I love how people can all agree upon something being totally unimportant yet there's a huge discussion going on about it. I find the "tfs most viewed models" list much more exciting than this one. models.com is a great website, but their rankings are crap. I don't think I ever understood how that list came about, it was entirely random even ten years ago.

Lol. That's true. For me MDC list make no sense at all I don't get it, and more after this weird moves lately

i dont see how kk can land on the icon list. what has she done in the past 5 years that worth taking notice...nothing except vs. i can name so many girls that can land on icon list b4 kk.

well. Wasn't KK #1 in one point of her career? I don't remember exactly, but I think it was before Liya... mm

Yes, I believe KK was at #1. I think Natlia was too. Probably sometime before KK.
And if KK continues with her HF comeback, she'll definitely be back on the icons list.

I don't think Natalia reached Number 1. The Number 1 girls were Amber, Gisele, Angela, KK, Liya, Daria, Gemma and so on. Someone mentioned it some pages back.

I was reading through the archives and Natalia apparently never made it to number 1. Although she was quickly promoted to the icons list.

^^Yeah, she does no modeling and she never really reached icon status so it would be crazy for her to be ranked anywhere on the site.

I disagree about Gemma never reaching an iconic status but I'm biased anyway so
it's all objective anyway. to me she's an icon, she has achieved so much by the age of 18 and became a "supermodel" at the age of 21. She revolutionized the look.
the only reason she's not on that list is because she is no longer modeling, I remember mdc posting an article back then that she will be moved to the Icons list soon. I guess no one expected her to...well, disappear.

Gemma will be an icon if she is still working, but sadly no more; it's like KK dropping off the list since she haven't got any work in the recent 2-3 years, the difference is only that Gemma didn't made to the icon list before quitting the modelling business.

I wonder how long Liya was number 1... probably for a long time if at the time she was booking a US Vogue editorial every single month, unless of course that's just now.

But aren't most girls #1 for at least a year? I would think so.

I remember seeing Poly at #1 and Raquel at #2 at one point, but maybe I'm mistaken.
