same here, I never understood the reasoning especially since Adriana broke the mold with the Givenchy campaign/Vogue Paris editorial in 09 and now she is scoring all these covers, its high time she is added. All 4 are working quite hard in the fashion industry and all 4 deserve recognition.

^ Ditto. Her recent Vogue Spain cover and V cover should've been the triggers. Plus she has Loewe too.

Wow so much movement in the mens rankings! Bergh should be like 8th or 7th or some rank higher. He has so many blue chip ads lately.

well isn't it kinda going backwards if she's added now? i mean these women were doing the work these girls do now a decade ago! why bring them back to square one...i don't think Adriana should be subjugated to this list.:innocent:

^ I know, I don't understand why Baptiste is still taking the #1 ranking, Simon should be on 1 already.

Well, all these VS angels who used to working in HF before that are coming back probably means that the industry wants them again, and they deserve to be recognized, and Adriana definitely deserves to be on the chart.

Not sure about Rosie, but I definitely agree about Adriana. She really deserves to be ranked. She's been having lots of important projects lately: last year's Givenchy F/W 09's campaign and runway appearance was amazing! and this year..wow!: June's Vogue Spain cover, July's V Magazine Spain cover, Loewe F/W 2010 campaign... and don't forget her lovely appearance at the Louis Vuitton show!

I think it's enough.. rank her please! :judge:

Why would Adriana be ranked? So she can be listed amongst girls like Julia Hafstrom & Lisanne de Jong? I think if a girl like Raquel is going to be ineligible for this top 50 list due to her "icon" status, then surely Adriana is ineligible as well.

I think everyone is forgetting that she is #1 on the 'Sexy' list!

Raquel came and had a very successful run in the hf world, she has pretty much done everything and thus she has no place to go but the icons list. I would love for Adriana and even Alessandra to be in the icons but I dont think it would be justified at the moment, they probably have to work their way up just like any other model. VS takes care of their commercial aspect but their hf calling has just come recently. Even though they are established models in the commercial arena, they were only mildly successful in hf in the beginning of their career, then came the long hiatus and now they have become in demand. I don't think people should ignore this phase of their career, but rather they should be recognized and be taken seriously as major models. I feel like many people don't respect them (especially on this site) as hf models and now if they are included in this list a lot of people might change their opinion. Plus they are the few models who come close to the status of being a supermodel, and with this recognition that status can probably be permanently established.

Well actually, from my very personal opinion, I think Adriana Lima is definitely an icon for sooo many different reasons, for instance she should be ranked somewhere in the icons list because of all of her recent work.

I think everyone is forgetting that she is #1 on the 'Sexy' list!

I know she's #1 on the sexiest list, but I also would like to se her in the icons list getting some recognition appart from her sexyness (btw money girls rank doesn't count cause that list is so out of date), so if Top Icons is too much to ask, at least rank her in top 50.

I don't think that Adriana deserves to be on the MDC 50 list at the moment, but I can easily see her making the list once she is back working full-time provided that it is something she wants and she is willing to do what is required and that kind of work usually involves a lot of traveling. I think when she walked for Givenchy and booked the campaign, the people at MDC weren't thinking along those lines and now that is outdated and the recent eds and covers are kinda muddied because they are tied to her personal and marital celebrity. I am not saying that she can't or won't rack up the high fashion stuff that drives being ranked on models.com Top 50 list, but she has not racked up enough at the moment.

Thanks for the information Legolas

Jeremy just moved up few days ago then strike out:|
The top 5 have barely any adjustment, but the top 10 is switching most of the time.

Moving Jeremy out was absolutely ridiculous, just like the whole men's list is ridiculous.

Just look at Luke Worrall still being on the list as an example. ^_^

I really don't care for this list anymore. It's absolutely ridiculous and inaccurate.

We should make our onw list. THAT would be accurate
(oh wait ... a list like this already exist, right? i once have seen something like this but can't really remember it anymore :D)
