How can Ymre enter with such a high spot and why are there three 28 ranks? Diana should be off now.

no offense to the ones from models.com that usually post the top here but I think that top is a lot inaccurate:flower:

Question

Does anyone know if models who've been wiped off the list ever come back?? I mean I'm sure its possible but I was just wondering if it has happend....

Raquel as number 1?

I understand why she's number 1--when taking into consideration runway, print, and editorial records...she's pretty competative.

But doesn't anyone think how much of a household name a model is matters? I mean no one on this list is a HUGE household name (at least in America, which probably makes it a good measure of how powerful the model is) but I'm thinking that more people know who Stam, Coco, and even Agyness than Raquel. And I think they have very comparable runway, editorial, and print records....

So I'm sort of iffy about Raquel at number 1 based on this....
What do you guys think?

I can understand people knowing Agyness more than Raquel, but Coco nd Stam? The only actual household names are on the icons list, if you compare Raquel's work with their recent work, you'll see why Raquel is no1 :)

And Isabeli Fontana was wiped off the list and came back, now she's no 2.

new list!

that's right what you said about isabeli^^

the new list answers my question too; kim noorda is back.

I'm happy to see heidi mount high up there!

Oh no Isabeli is off the list :( As is Elise, Valentina and some others.

They had a big update today.

i'm not gonna say something bad on that list. but i am about. isabeli was number 2 and now is considered 51/52? or what? maybe she should go on the icon list if she is out of the 50.

she had Numero december cover and a issue of vogue germany almost dedicated to her right now..

mm she was the star of Pirelli calendar.. she is in some campaign too (missoni), she refused dolce & gabbana one..

ok this one has to be explained

the only explanation i imagine right now is what she said about that list ahahahah

^Hilary Rhoda and Julia Stegner were really high before they were taken off too and the reason for that is not because they and Isabeli became less than the rest of the top 50. She just became too succesful and if they don't want to make her number 1 they will make her go to other lists if she's not already on other lists.

I thought they were taken off because they went commercial.

^ no she's not. and julia stegner is not there anymore too? shock

Julia was number three for a really long time and Hilary 4 and then they went to the money girls list and sexy list. I guess this is very we will find Isabeli soon although she is working a lot in high fashion still.

I just noticed that Iselin is back on the list! :woot:

She's the rarest of things, a model so pristine there are clients, season after season waiting for her presence.
Meisel does everything to make her a comeback.

I feel that Jessica Stam is slowly saying goodbye too and I think Agyness will soon be an icon.
I like the list more actually although I think Anabela should be higher.

On oh! Please don't let Agy be an Icon! She's more annoying than Miley Cyrus! lol

Yay for Iselin back - that is one great description of her. :)

And Natasha Poly no 2? :woot: Anna J no 11? :woot: Anna S no 13? :woot:

I think if Natasha books US Vogue and a bit more editorials this year, she's defiantely going to b the next number one, I don't think she's ready yet though.

Natasha Poly at two :woot: i agree thiago, but with sasha now having a cosmetic campaign and Raquel being rumoured to have just bagged one Natasha does have some competition.

There were more changes...I'll try to sum it up:

Elsa Sylvan new at 50
Agnete Hegelund down to 49 (where is she, haven't seen her anywhere lately)
Nimue Smit new at 48
Giedre Dukauskaite up to 41
Du Juan down to 39 (it says up, but she was at 16 I believe and at 49 before that...her career really has been going up and down the past year)
Sigrid Agren up to 38
Hye Park down to 35
Snejana Onopka down to 35
Maryna Linchuk down to 33
Aline Weber up to 32
Kim Noorda new at 30 (I don't believe she was ever on this list before, so I am stoked to see her there!)
Magdalena Frackowiak down to 29
Olga Sherer up to 27
Siri Tollerod up to 25
Ymre Stiekema up to 24
Katrin Thormann up to 23
Iris Strubegger up to 23
Hanne-Gaby Odiele up to 22
Lakshmi Menon up to 22
Sessilee Lopez up to 21
Jourdan Dunn up to 21
Eniko Mihalik up to 20
Viktoriya Sasonkina up to 20
Kinga Rajzak up to 19
Tanya Dziahileva down to 18
Chanel Iman up to 17
Abbey Lee Kershaw up to 17
Freja Beha Erichsen down to 16
Iselin Steiro returns to the list at 15 (I knew her retirement wasn't forever when she bid the modeling world goodbye 2 (?) years ago)
Kasia Struss down to 14
Anna Selezneva up to 13
Toni Garrn up to 12
Heidi Mount up to 12
Anna Jagodzinska up to 11
Mariacarla Boscono up to 7
Jessica Stam down to 6
Lara Stone up to 4
Lily Donaldson up to 3
Natasha Poly up to 2

I believe, Isabeli Fontana (weird), Irina Lazareanu, Valentina Zelyaeva, Diana Dondoe, Egle Tvirbutaite, Kamila Filipcikova (!) and Elise Crombez are out...maybe I am forgetting someone. And to be honest I expected Anne Vyalitsyna to return as well, but we'll see....

I think we can say one thing: the new guard is taking over.
