Sasha deserves number 2.. if not more. When she works she works the BIGGEST magazines , did anyone enjoy her lovely only girl editorial in VOGUE us this month? . When she does shows its always A LIST. And campaigns? Longchamp , John Galliano , Biotherm, Giorgio Armani , Armani cosmetics , GAP , Tiffany & co ..

karlie's recent editorial rampage only started in january or so, i'm sure she'll move up if it continues

about stam and iselin, it's harder to rank girls like those two, because they have a certain status
obviously iselin could work more if she wanted to, and when she does work, it's always major stuff

Shouldn't Raquel be moved to the Icons list now?
I mean, she's had outstanding work since she started several years and is still going pretty strong both campaign-wise and runway-wise (well she mostly does the major shoes, but quality does exceed quantity). I think Natasha should be either number one as of now, or moved to the Icons list as well.
Agyness is too high, she's barely done much work lately. Same with Suvi.
Also, I expect Karlie to make a major jump, hopefully to the top 10
I also noticed a lot of new guys on the Top 50, like AJ, Salieh, and Travone.

^I agree that Raquel is already an icon. If she leave the main list, I believe Natasha will be number 1 for sure. Suvi and Agyness are way too high, I don't get how Agyness in on top 5 and Suvi, top 10.
Marlon Teixeira is now on the list too.

^ i am now sure that she is not on the list because she is not a model to stay in a ranking full of new faces/models of the future. she is beyond the first place.. she is just in another level of ranking.. same for julia stegner and others. they already reached a level between that list and the icon lists..
and they are money girl, so of course they are in a total different level-ranking from all the various eniko, kinga, siri and so on..

i almost think now that it would be not fair for isabeli to stay in that list.

True but Raquel and Stam, well kinda Stam, are at that same level and they are both still on the list.

Stam is not working as much as she used to, I agree she should be moved down, but not off the top 10 maybe.
I don't know why Iselin is so high, she got some nice campaigns this season but I don't see her on magazines lately.
I don't like Karlie, but I must admit she's been working a lot and deserves a better spot.

Campaigns, my friends, regarding Karlie vs Ali and Toni. Though Ali doesn't have a great campaign season right now, she had 2 good seasons with Chloe and Calvin. Toni had her mainline Calvin and of course as you know, has an incredible amount of campaigns this season.

Anna Jagodzinska is def top 10. - Tons of campaigns, great runway season, done US, Paris and Italian Vogue.
Suvi def isn't. - Nothing huge last season. It's been a while since I've heard about her.
Why is Agyness so high? She's top ten but not top 5.

I'm sure they're just waiting for this season to end to update it

I definitely think its smart of MDC to not move the top 10 around so much. The top 10 might not always be the girls of the minute but they all have incredible longevity. Notice how Suvi came back to CK, for example. Trentini doesn't really have a whole lot of campaigns but now she has this killer YSL exclusive. And no they don't have a lot of runway or editorials but the amount they get paid for them is KILLER.

I don't think Raquel is an Icon yet--I don't think she's a household name at all.

Also, I totally agree with the top 3. Raquel, Sasha, Lily and Natasha still do a heavy amount of runway shows at probably an insane rate per walk. The recession barely affects these ones!

And its smart not to move girls like Anna J and Anna S to the top 10 until they prove their longevity.

1. Natasha Poly
2. Toni Garn
3. Sasha Pivovarova
3. Lara Stone
4. Anna Jagodzinska
5. Lily Donaldson
5. Coco Rocha

Of course, this moves Raquel to the icon list. Let's face it, models to not become household names anymore. They do to us, but no model has really become a part of the mainstream consciousness in many, many years. We just don't live in that era anymore.......although I think there are a few girls that could change that.

Poly is nearing iconic status too in the current state of modeling. Models are staying on the runway longer than they used to though. Maybe she should have a season or two at number one of the working model list and then be moved. Even if they don't move Raquel, I think Poly should be number one. If not alone (I think she's been bigger than Zimmerman long enough to justify this) or tied for number one.

I may get some grief about Toni at number 2, but she's on a tear right now. Right now, in this very moment she's the most in demand girl in the world.

Actually, more and more people know names like Chanel Iman, Agyness Deyn, Coco Rocha, and Jessica Stam. They make themselves known via talkshows, personal style, etc.

Also, I think Raquel's campaigns probably Trump Natasha's. Yes she has Gucci but that's multigirl and Raquel is only girl MJ and ODLR.

Also, Anna J is the most in demand girl of 2009, but I agree Toni is doing really well.
