I was thinking, maybe you guys would appreciate the monthly rankings lexposure.net does. Since it changes monthly and isn't influenced by personal opinions or whatever, it may be more accurate to some of you:

OMW!!!! I love the new Icon list!
But why is Claudia so high? Naomi should be in the top spots, she's legendary and everyone knows who she is.
Who got taken off the list so Isabeli could be in it?

Also whyw ould Sessilee be higher than Jourdan?

Why is Maaryna above Snejana? I'm not a fan but you have to give her some credit. Snejana had an amazing career and all covers you need at least more than Maryna ever had.

Freja moved up again I thought it was wrong to move her so much down anyway but with Chanel and Gucci I guess they had to put her back.

Why Iselin is back to the list is a mystery to me she's way too exclusive.

Anna Maria is about to enter the top 5. I guess it's about time to move Agyness elsewhere, Natasha at 1 and raquel to the Icons list.

Katrin sharing 23 with Iris is weird too. Edita should be moved to the top 15 soon too.

Other girls that should move up:

Magdalena Frackowiak
Liu Wen
Nimue Smit (after the campaigns will be out)
Snejana, Vlada and Maryna. They don't work that much as before but 34 already again? The girls above them should first prove that they will stay longer same with Irina and Anabela they did a lot.

Agyness Deyn
Katrin Thormann
Coco Rocha (maybe to 6 or something like that)

I always take their list more seriously. A list of the top girls without Toni Garrn at number one just isn't worth looking at IMO!

I like to look at both the lists together, they both have their place, lexposure's is very mathematical and tells you exactly who is working right now, and Models.com, takes a longer term view..

I mean, Toni is doing a lot of work, but overall, that doesn't make her more powerful in the industry than someone like Sasha, which is what models.com shows, so i think that the two rankings are both great and complement each other well..

If you have followed our top 50 male models list for the past 8 years, which you probably haven't, you would realize that we place a very high priority on the clients for the guys list... Calvin Klein is a starmaker, simple as that. The media buy is huge.. You see the Calvin ads EVERYWHERE. While Taylor, Cole and Tyler have been working longer and have more... for S/S 09, AJ is where he is because he is the face of Calvin.

I don't play cards, but isn't there one card that trumps the others? Aces are better than anything.... that sort of deal...

So if AJ doesn't continue to do well next season (meaning top campaigns/big editorials/massive runway seasons), he could very well be out...The men's industry is very different from the women's. Sad but true..
as you know.

That makes a bit more sense now. I didnt realize one shot of CK trumps everything those three have done, but i understand .

Models.com's mael ranking is not my cup of tea,
get a CK contract definitely helps,and will keep you up（except Blaine Cook,recently)
Mathias has occupied the first place few years,
I am a little bit tired with him(Ok,girls like him for his prince face,elegance...he is not the sexy type,just one style,I havn't seen him naked even in the editorials).
Many new comers got achievements these years(not related with CK),but they don't get a fair treatment on the ranking..so,I ignore this ranking.

betty_s I totally agree that the mens placings are a totally different ball game to the women's just as the men's industry works totally different.

Yes Northern Star, there's just not as many clients and they are all so fickle when it comes to the men. Hedi uses a new kid a season, even Calvin doesn't have that long term devotion to one guy that it used to (like when Karl Lindman did 4 seasons of Calvin mainline collection, the fragrance, the CK Jeans line etc). And to the person about Mathias.. look for some changes that we've been planning for a while

i don't think models.com put her there looking at a recent present only, but her icon status is a product of many years of hard work, 2 sons and never give up

Well yes, we put her there looking at the long term picture AND the immediate work. But the Vogue cover was the cherry on top as we say!

.what if dolce replace david gandy with him?so bad,because Mathias's too thin and maybe he/or his agency wouldn't like to performance some sexy naked photos.

a top/professional model should be what the designer/photographer/editor want him to be,not only just being one type..check out female models,like raquel,she can be princess/diva/b*tch..any types in editorials or ads...

Well, I think we all are very happy to see Isabeli on ANY list...most of us were confused when she disappeared from the main list a few months ago
