But Abbey's been in the business for a number of years now, while Sigrid's only had one good year so far. She already missed the Fashion Week this season, lets see how this campaign season works out for her and whether she can come back with the same force on the runway next season. I dislike Abbey, but I think her ranking is justified.

BTW, I just looked at the list. I don't even know who Hannah Holman is. Why is she at #27? That just seems so random. Like I have literally never seen her before, I don't think.

Also noticed Suvi's at #24. Wasn't she in the top 10 until very recently?

Finally, I bet Dree's rumored SS10 campaigns are the reason for her move. I mean if she really got Valentino and Ferre, that's a pretty great for her. I'm also wondering if MDC know something about some other girls who moved up, like Constance (who should not be that high, imo), Karlie, and Jac. Maybe they got some good campaigns we dont' know about.

What? Natasha has a record 3 consecutive seasons as Top 1 First Face with a total of 35 shows opened. She opened 12 shows in a single season. I don't get where "she broke the record for most shows opened" coming from. How many did Sigrid open last season?


I can't wait as to what campaigns Karlie have bagged this season, 7th place already?

My bad, Sigrid tied Natasha's record of 12 opens, she didn't beat it. The point still stands she's a level above Abbey on the runway and when it comes to campaigns.

I'm not at all buying the who's been in the business longer arguments with Jac so high.

And to be fair, I NEVER said Abbey's ranking was unjustified, I didn't even imply it. I said Sigrid should be higher, and based on her work, she should. Abbbey has been modeling longer, it's true. But in that extra time she still hasn't managed to put together a runway or campaign season comparable to Sigrid's, which I think Sigrid should be recognized for. Personally, I prefer Abbey, but the facts don't lie.

Models.com pls remove Agyness, Alana, Anya Kazakova, Kinga, Alyona & Suvi Koponen!!! Lily, Ali, and Caroline needs to go down and it bothers me why Jac is HIGHER than Sigrid Agren? hello?...and Sess higher than Chanel? come on...Sess is a bonafide VI girl but she has no BIG Ads!

I bet Myf, Elsa, Julia & Katlin will be gone soon And SS/10 newcomers like Patricia, Lisanne, Mirte & Jacquelyn might make their debut

although im not a toni garrn fan it seems strange that she with all of her campaigns (for two seasons straight)is at 11 while karlie is at seven?? i know she is on a roll ,but 7same thing with jac ,what has she reallly done to be at 14 ,while there are other models with bigger achievements!

I think models.com decids a lot how the Fashion Week went ...

For example I like lexposures more, because they stay more realistic and you can follwo who moved up and they give better reasons.
So I think they do a better job than models.com

(But you shouldn't forget, Jac had a exclusic CK campaign )

It's about reputation rather than campaigns though. Sigrid really just had a good season, I may be wrong, but I'm not at all convinced she's gonna be around a long time. There's no energy there. Karlie on the other hand is Anna Wintour's go to girl, having broken into the US Vogue club in a most spectacular fashion, and is fast becoming a Meisel favourite. Campaign wise she may not have gotten the best in the past, but she has Dior next season - a hard campaign for a model to get. Karlie is the girl everyone's talking about, and at this rate has the potential to get very very far. I think her position at the moment is justified.

Can anyone explain to me Maryna way down at 33 while Eniko is 9, they seem at a similar level to me...

Recently Eniko has been all over the place. She's a Sorrenti favourite, I&V love her, and VP has started using her of her own accord (eg. with photographers for whom she is not a muse or exclusive). She got two good campaigns last season, and she's still going places. Maryna I haven't seen alot of lately. Correct me if I'm wrong, but she seems to be going through a bit of a slow phase.

I actually think the ranking makes sense - for once Models.com is looking at the modeling industry right now rather than clinging to past achievements

The eternal number one and living legend Raquel Zimmerman has been at the top of the game for over a decade now. She's the only one I can think of off the top of my head, there may be more.

She just got the last Fendi Campaign, and that she is kind of an icon is no excuse.
