I did want Natasha to get it but Lara is just everywhere right now! So many covers it hurts. Well deserved for her, but I don't get why Mariacarla moved up?

Yeah, I can't really argue with that. As much as I'd rather see Natasha or Sasha, Lara is #1 right now.

I do still feel bad that Sasha seemingly will never be number one. I think she should've replaced Gemma for a year and then it should've been Raquel.

It's similar to those 100 most beautiful people in the world lists, its what you make of it.
But Lara is a fashion industry fave so her spot makes sense.

What is weird that there is only one Brazilian model in the rankings now.
I ranked the nationalities of the models in the list, if there's a tie the first rank counted although adding the numbers would have probably made more sense.

I am sorry but I just don't understand this system of having 67 girls in Top 50. I know its been done to death but it does not make any sense to me. Are they doing it cause they feel like pushing some girls out there or they feel sympathetic to them or whatever, but its ridiculous. Having a model tie another one is senseless, there is hardly any rational criteria to do so. Why not have 50 models for a top 50 model list, you can't get much simpler than that.

Lara totally deserves that #1 spot. She is everywhere. I would have been very upset if she didn't top the list.
