And is there any good reason Iselin Steiro is still in the Top 10? I was kind of shocked when candlebougie wrote in the Most Viewed Models on TFS thread that she isn't even in the Top 250 of the most viewed models on here I honestly never see her anywhere and only vaguely remember seeing her in a few VP eds over a year ago?

also -- i'll never understand how it is that Marlon is ranked so low on the men's lists. that guy has been everywhere this past year.

I am not a fan of Iselin, but her campaign work over the last 4 seasons is what has kept her in the top 10- Versace, Chloe, Emporio Armani, Tommy Hilfiger, etc. She is one of those models who doesn't do much other than campaigns. Now if anyone needs to be out of the top 10, its Miranda Kerr & Anna Jagodzinska. We get it- Miranda was pregnant and couldn't work on her time off, but the only campaign she scored this season was Rag & Bone. I think Candice Swanepoel is taking all the work she used to get. As far as Anna is concerned, her fragrance campaigns have all expired, and she hasn't walked any shows in almost two years. Its time for those two to go & for Sigrid to enter the top 10. I personally don't like her & think she just looks like a filler model, but she has proven her longevity, especially being a new Gucci girl.

Also I like all the new pictures, it's refreshing and it's like looking at a whole new list.

^^you like the new profile pictures? IDK, I think they needed to update them, but some of the pics don't do the girls justice, imo. Natasha i-D cover is a great cover, but I don't think it best represents what she actually looks like. Freja's profile is a huge downgrade. That last French Vogue profile embodied Freja soooo much more than this new one. To me, the profile should be an important peice of work that best shows what the model looks like. For example, Lara's profile is perfect. She is the face of Calvin Klein, and has been looking like that for the past three seasons. Freja's profile should have been a Chanel ad if you ask me.

Oh, and why was everyone's pics updated BUT Kinga's?!?! That Missoni ad was in 2008!!

i specifically have a problem with Frida's, why would they put a reprint Vogue China cover from months ago instead of her Prada ad or

they immediatly ranked Juliane G. after she got the Vogue Italia cover and also got the Balenciaga campaign,
she was definitely too quickly added because as we can see now the girl hasn't done anything since then

and i think Iselin's ranking is justified, she has consistently booked great ad campaigns
but don't worry though, she'll probably will be removed in the next months because i just saw in her thread that she's coming back to college so we'll probably see very little of her..

I think they definitely jumped the gun with Juliane Gruner......unless there is something major about to come out. Some models careers are quite frankly baffling and Juliane's is one of them. A major mag cover, followed by a A-list campaign and then.........nothing Seriously her career needs to be managed better and she should have done some shows last season. If nothing materialises then she needs to be removed really.
I think at this point also, Anna J. does need moving out of the Top 10 as much as I rate her, is only doing catalogue stuff lately. Also Emily Didonato is doing little else except her Maybelline work, so could probably move down a bit and Tati Cotliar isn't doing much lately either.

I think KK should replace Amber Valetta on the Icons list. Amber is a US Vogue regular, but she gets very little campaign work. KK on the other hand has been in several campaigns recently and was just in VP.

guess what everyone has been waiting for:

a wide open race for the top spot. i can't wait for the spring/summer 2012 campaign season. joan small is a very very strong candidate. im all out for joan to fight for the top spot. not that im a big fan of joan but i just think its important that coloured models are being recognized fairly in this modeling industry.

with one strong season anyone in the top 5 can land on the numero uno spot in about 6 months.

Hurray at No Freja Wow @ Joan, her appearance on the next Chanel campaign will be legendary! She's the first model of color ever since Naomi Campbell.

I think MDC is realizing that Joan is one of the few girls that will have staying power. They don't want to put someone at #1 if they don't think they will maintain that level of success for at least 2 years. I was all for Freja being #1 a few months ago, but now I think other girls are gaining momentum very fast. I predict that Karlie & Joan will have an epic campaign season for spring and that Karlie might become #1 and Joan #2. They both will be around for a while, so that would be a smart choice.

I think Joan is will be number one eventually, just like Liya was a few years back. Then again the way Arizona and Saskia are going in terms of campaigns they'll have the same status as Freja and Natasha in no time.
