wraparound magazine, issue 4, had a really good interview with sokolsky.
unfortunately, the magazine is now defunct, but i have it kicking around somewhere,
maybe if i have the wherewithall i'll transcribe some of it.
if anyone can find the magazine though, you should pick it up..sorry to see it go under after 5 issues.

-edit- that's a very nice little avatar! ;)

All of the photos are so creative and beautiful! I love the bubble ones . . . a few years back there was a spread with Ben Stiller and I forget which model . . . but it was in the same style and there was a bubble photo and some floating images as well . . . I don't know if sokolsky did those but they were very similar . . .

If I wasn't studying abroad in London right now I would rifle through my enormous piles of magazines and scan it in

Thanks for the link:woot: !
The pictures are so creative and dreamy! The only ones I had seen before are the bubbles, which I adore, but the others are new for me.

I love them as well, and I've probably spend too much time looking at them on his website.
I love the flying- and bubbles once

I dont' really find those pictures appetizing, but still very wonderful images, thanks!

........ very impressive  This must be one of the best works I've seen recently, wow. He's like a modern magician. The photos with the woman in the bubble are truly amazing, I always feel a bit like that, floating around in my own world where nobody sees what I'm really at. Not in the sense that I'm autistic or anything :p I guess everybody around here knows what I mean. Can you believe it, they were shot in '63!!! Holy sheep.
I can just sit here and gaze at those pics for hours, I could write books at the size of a shoebox about each of them. The whole surreal scene which he always remains true to is what draws me in so much.

Thanks so much Mullet, you're a doll for scanning that editorial  I'm afraid I'll have to make a new avatar :innocent:
