his best collection to date, imo. milan's best.

Ooo...it's very cool, very relaxed cut, very appealing layering without going overboard, so far. Have to see more. That blue tweed jacket under the faux leather coat in the second picture is speechlessly amazing.

It's nice, although I'd imagine you have to be tall to wear a lot of it, judging by the cuts.... maybe it's just me. anyway, i was under the impression that the shop was closed?!

Dare I say, this is actually more Jil Sander than the current Jil Sander collection. The colour palette, the cut, and the styling all scream "Jil" to me. Probably because he was the one who actually launched the men's line for Jil Sander. All in all I love it and I'm hoping more retailers would start carrying his line.

OMG!!! Look who's back!!! :woot:

^ exactly what i had in mind. i know this collection is just a rather plain, bland wearable stuff but these are what i've long for from him and of course, not to mention the disappointment with jil sander collection. i thought raf would at least make a decent debut, not just 1 or 2 outstanding pieces.

faust, some of them, yes. particulary for the knee-detailing trousers.

I can see that, especially with the trousers.

The fabrics and quality always seem to be top-notch.
It has a bit of an old-word feel, artisanal which attracted me..

Very wearable, got details like materials, nice cut.
I'd like to buy tht double-breast tweed(?) (if I got the $)

I know one guy who is about 1.7m but who wears a too-big jacket/coat with his skinny pants with short, ruffled hair and horn-rimmed glasses. He stands out from the others because he looks off-kelter, as if he didn't think a lot about what he wears, and the girls find that just cute. He is, however, very blonde, quite good-looking, skinny and doesn't pose or pout as if he is too cool to be kissed.

i suppose you're telling us you prefer guys with non-chalant attitude and style, eh? :D
the baggy top/skinny bottom styling has been around for awhile.

Heh, not just me...a lot of girls out there are sick of the rock-star "narcissists", like those you see in Berlin clubs. Actually, the best looking people usually don't try too hard to impress..The fastest way to stand out is of course to look different, but the "right" different, so you're not a trend victim like everyone else.:)

The top mustn't be "baggy" at all, but bigger and strictly structured so that there's a definitive shape. Not hip-hop or any of those horrors. It's a very cute proportion on the right guys, ie., guys who aren't too bulky.

I'm afraid Menichetti hasn't explored that shape/proportion in this collection. Still, it's very easy on the eyes, a beautiful palette and not ridiculous like some others.

he did something in contrast for last season, baggy/loose trousers and fitted tops. regardless so, i don't think why'd he need to experiments with such proportion/silhouette and in fact, to paraphrase faust, people have different body types and different aesthetics, and there should be a market for everyone. isn't better to have options?

as for the garments quality, i'd say that you could rely on him on this. like what raijin had said, the fabrics and quality always seem to be top-notch and that is what matters to us at the end of the day.

I know one guy who is about 1.7m, and he looks like crap when he wears his othersized coat with skinny pants.
