My personal favourite, and the one I get most compliments for, is Chanel Allure Homme. It smells fantastic and it is a nice light scent very understated, and subtle.

Does anyone remember Gucci Nobile?

I think it's been discontinued (maybe around 18 months ago) but you can still get hold of it pretty easily online.

I've heard good things, but would like to gauge people's opinion considering it's not possible to test it yourself on the shop floor any longer!

I *love* Simply Irresistable for Men by Givenchy. my boyfriend wears it and I just can't get enough of it. It's esy to overdo tho, so you have to be careful with how much you apply.

Gucci Envy , Dior Fahrenheit/Higher and Creed are definately the classic sexy, masculine scents of all time. can't go wrong with either.

and Miss.Blondie, I personally don't like Givenchy's Very Irrestible. it's just seems all jumbled and rushed for production IMO.

Yes Barry you're correct it has been discontinued
It's very strong, greenish & extremely classic fragrance for a man. It goes to same category as Armani Pour Homme (1984) very 80's fragrance, but in a good way. I own myself a 3.4 oz. bottle of this green devil and will never ever trade it away, to the bitter end (till the liquid disappears) I shall go with it.

Here's the notes for Gucci Nobile:
Top notes : Bergamot, Lemon, Lavender, Rosemary, Tarragon, Mace
Middle Notes : Jasmin, Green Notes, Rose, Cyclamen, Carnation, Geranium, Fir
Base notes: Cedar, Patchouli, Sandal, Tonka, Musk, Moss, Vetiver, Amber

get a sample of kiehl's original musk and put it on in the morning and you'll notice that you smell fresh for the rest of the day, as if you've just jumped out of the shower.
it definitely smell better when it reacts with your skin.
