Men's Fragrance / Cologne

I can smash the bottle just cause of the smell, also cause it reminds me of my dad, and I hate him also

Hahah.. Yes.. it is a bit daddish.. I didn't really love the smell... ;)

Another scent that reminds me of dads is Polo and Drakkar. hahaha

But again.. for some reason I am currently in love with Escada Sentiment. *purr*

Gross, I hate Drakkar, and that green Polo

I much rather go and splash myself with toilet water

OK, Mens fragrances, Mens fragrances, concentrate...

I hate the Green polo but I DO like Drakkar. it depends on whom it's on, though. It smells great on my best guy friend. On other people...not so great. It's all about body chemistry.

Chris you have good taste in fragrance, i think you can still get gucci rush for men, i think i saw some yesterday in town.

I've bought my boyfriend le male by Gaultier, i love that scent, it is quite sexy, i like the bottle too hehe.

One that i really hate is JOOP haha, i don't know what it is about that, but i hate it

My boyfriend wears Heritage by Guerlain which smells wonderful on him ;)

We have Green Irish Tweed, but he won't wear it because it's so strong, oh well.

That thing smells like I just squeezed oranges on my body

Im actually enjoying Eau de Marveilles a lot

What about Un Jardin en Mediterranee ? It's delicious :chef:

Eau d'Orange is incredible, I just wish it lasted longer!!! I tend to use the whole line of products and that can get me through most of the day with the scent still being there.

You said not too expensive and so I am in love with Guerlain's new L'Instant for men. It's $49 for 2.5 oz. Guerlain created a new category of fragrance with L'Instant, very exciting.

CREED is my fav. though and I love a few Bond scents and also ETRA and Palais Jamais from ETRO are great too, but Palais tends to be somewhat heavy.

A really fresh scent that not many people are aware of is DARPHIN pour lui which is really incredible too.

You can't get RUSH for men in GUCCI anymore, I am almost positive that both ENVY and RUSH were discontinued, whats left is on the market. Of course, you'll still be able to buy it for years to come. Just look at Nobile.

you say you want a cheap one? Hmm....Phantom IV by Arthur Burnham, it'll only set you back $72,000

I use john varvatos, its a leathery vanilla, its a very good scent.

Oh vanilla, I really want a fragance which has a hint of vanilla. Any other recommendations for a vanilla fragance? It might not be very masculine scent but whatever. :flower:

Hey, wondering if anybody could help me. I'm easily overwhelmed when trying to pick a fragrance, so I'd appreciate suggestions. I like woodsy, masculine scents - but not masculine like 'A deer pissed on my leg then I shot it' sort of thing that some guys wear. I also wanted it to be something unique... I was thinking HM, but I'm not really sure. I also am a big 'beach' person. Oh, and please no citrus/fruit scents... they give me headaches. So if you've got a suggestion, please let me know!!

Hanae Mori is a GREAT choice, it's one of my absolute favorites. If you like Hanae Mori, but want something more serious and unique - MAT;Male by Masaki Matsushima is excellent. Also - Comme des Garcons 2 or 2 Man - wonderful. A few of my other personal favorites include L'Eau d'Issey, L'Eau Bleau d'Issey, and Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier - and if you're a beach person, the toning summer edition of Le Male. I've also heard that the Dior Homme fragrances are wonderful (www.eluxury.com) - but I have never tried them myself. Same with the Comme des Carcons fragrances - great variety with all the different series. I'll post a link to a site that sells those later on.

Oh, and www.sephora.com has an online fragrance finder.

Most importantly, take time and sample so you can find something that works well with your skin and that you appreciate. Make sure it can represent your personality well, it's often seen as a person's trademark.

I hope I've helped, and good luck :flower:

Oh and of course, CREED and Helmut Lang. I also own Fahrenheit...quite nice, I have it because I got it free, though.
