I know I am chomping at the metaphorical bit in anticipation of the Fall/Winter shows coming up here in a couple of weeks...any predictions about trends coming up that far away?

(And does anyone know when the Milan menwear shows are to be staged? I have had trouble getting my hands on any kind of a schedule)

I don't know about the trends but I am looking forward to the continuation all of the rising stars of menswear like Bernhard,Chalayan,Véronique,Gaspard(although I hated the last one maybe it'll be different this time round)and Thomas Engel Hart. And of course Raf,Hedi,Dirk Schönberger,Margiela and Carol Christian Poell

Is Xavier Delcour returning to the menswear schedule or is he going to focus on P-A-P showings from now on?

a/w trend predictions........

scarlet fever! ( i see a deep red for sure )
mid length coats with tie belt making small waist
lots and lots of double hoods
very thin leg pants
THE MISSONI SCARF WILL BE HUUUUUUGE FOR MEN

The shows are Jan 11th through the 16th...
Castings started today in Milan!!
I cant seem to find a schedule anywhere either!!!!
I was there last year in Milan for the shows!!! I t just makes me sick that I am not there now!!!!
I have a friend who is there--I know he is really busy with castings but just maybe he could fax me the schedule----
If he does--I'll post!!!!!!!

Scott- I don't know about Xavier, but I am totally loving this hab pair of wideleg pants I justed picked up in NYC. My first Xavier piece. I'm looking forward to all listed above as well as Les Hommes and Rick Owens.

Well sometimes, designers will present something on a small scale during P-A-P and then show an actual show during the menswear season. Xavier's presentation I believe was only showroom but I dunno. In any case,I did like that collection alot.

Oh btw,was reading Petti Imagine a couple weeks ago and Véronique will present in Florence this season at a theatre.

just stop eating which i thought was a requirement to fit in any of his clothes anyway (paging: karl lagerfeld)...

between buying up all the gucci and ysl i can, we will be in the same poor house.

I'm skinny already.. if i stop eating and there wont be any of me left

and it sucks how all the places that stock DH buy all the larger sizes..

I feel Versace will extremely nice for some odd reason. I see her going back to classy stuff. (At least that is what I hope). I can't even imagine what Tom Ford is going to do for Gucci. I know it will be beautiful and I'll want every last thing in the collection :o

i can't believe Tom is leaving Gucci group. I wonder if the rumors are true about him and Versace. He will continue to do great things wherever he goes
