well it seems it's the first time for METAL in TFS...
so Metal is spanish magazine, i discovered in Barcelona...
I didn't know about it...
I wanted to buy a spanish magazine... so bought this... i already know Neo2.
sorry no idea who's on the cover...
but the magazine opens on page 4 with a fashion editorial... which is very good and unexpected for me...
there's not a lot of ads in this and it's not even expensive (4.5€ in Spain)...
reviews about music, fashion and art only...
then it's all about fashion editorials
no ad AT ALL btw all these....
i'm sorry but i don't know that much about the spanish fashion scene...
only spanish (or people living in Spain) photog and stylist, well i guess when you look the credits...
the first editorial (no credit...) is very Couture Beauty Portrait...
shopping credits including spanish labels... and some Dior
second editorial = menswear portfolio for Spastor...
then an illustration editorial by Ricardo Fumanal (included into a review about him... in the art section)...
another portfolio-editorial for Margiela with the FW08 collection...
and then from p.44 to p.104 only fashion editorials...btw 6 and 14p. each.
the first one is very rock, punk... not very great or original but some good shots...it's a Diesel ad-editorial shooted I quote : "during the sales at the Diesel stores in Barcelona and Madrid"...
photo : Mari Sarai and styled by Raquel Garcia...
then an editorial shooted in Wall Street,NY by Christophe Kutner, styled by Romina Herrera Malatesta (@Filomeno)...
some of the pictures make me think of an almost influenced P.Lindbergh's style... but it's good...
a lot of black...kind of punkish spirit... a rock'n roll star in NY.
with a military cap for access.
Dolce & Gabbana, Yamamoto and Wolford for the black trashed "leggings"...
second is Le Palace... some interesting things...
then Your Baby Blues Would Flash... very american scenekids stylism...
very MK vs Cobrasnake kind of girls (i haven't gone on cobrasnake for like 6-8months.......)
rayban, rock n' roll hat, black leggings with leather jacket, some hippie...etc.
guess would be better for past summer edition...
The Warrior (14p.) by Txema Yeste, styled by Ana Murillas (@Pancho Saula)
veryy good....
already seen but i don't care it's good for my tastes...
a very androgynous model... his/her name is Simon Bouteloup @ Marylin (Paris)...
Jeanne d'Arc meets a Japanese warrior in the forest...
then Shin Han (male editorial, rock n' roll... dated... skinny jeans, white shirts, thin ties, suspenders....), then Automatic Lover
shots à la Terry Richardson... only spanish labels shopping...
maybe something 80s... I don't know...
and last one Candyland... photos by Patricia de Gregorio and styled by Ana de Gregorio...
too bad there's not enough pages...
magazine is total 112p.
