I've seen better from the Kors label.
is the entire collection up on wwd.com? from what i see, i'm seriously in love with the python coat.
eehhh are my thoughts. i was going to say eww but that might be rude
Fur hats and boots? Is it just me or are the designers confused/mixed and doing pre-fall instead of cruise/resort? Come on, all these beautiful light fabrics, nice summery colors, lean silhouettes with... fur, knits, scarves, boots, coats. It's just wrong. btw, the last look reminds me of Celine a bit too much.
Very beautiful, but don't try and bring the slouchy boot back, PLEASE!
looks quite dated for a moment there I thought it was a cruise 1995 collection
I feel like this collection has three personalities
I don't really see any consistency and most of it looks bad
Dont like it. Not sure whether it is a winter or summer collection.
Boring color scheme.
seriously, the real complaint is about the fashion system, not this collection. these clothes will arrive in stores at the height of winter. every single fashion consumer does not go to a tropical locale in the middle of winter. a good number occupy those lavish mountain homes from aspen to st. moritz. and not every single fashion customer wants to shop for their december coat in the summer. also, even if you're going to st. barth's....you don't board the gulfstream in a bikini and flip flops.
michael kors really said it best in the wwd.com summary of this collection:
Perhaps the most boring resort collection so far, but the most practical and universal collection at that.
A very good cruise collection I think personally, sure not the most colorful one like his previous collections but it does stand out in a good way, and a very smart idea he had to combine it with winter pieces.
NOOOO! It's awful! Even the models look uncomfortable!
Wow, some of you guys thought exactly the same as me...this is a very confused collection! I thought Resort was meant to be a summery collection?!?
I'm a Kors fan but IMO, he is always best when he designs for F/W. Anyways, that's not the point, this collection is really bland, not very flattering and just overall blah. There are some okay pieces in there but i just don't find it effortlessly sexy like his RTW collections.
