Michael Kors F/W 14.15 New York

I can't believe I'm saying this... but this may be one of the best of the week, and I am no Michael Kors fan. Slouchy in a cool way, sexy slinky dresses, beautiful cozy layered knits, polished and chic tailoring, I love the seemingly Southwestern influence. This is truly gorgeous.

It's so weird to see a Kors collection with no color at all, but I actually love this. And that's saying a lot because Kors is usually not for me.

I really enjoyed this collection. I'm not a huge fan of Kors, his collections are so big that it seems like he's just selling luxe basics as opposed to designing fashion. But this season I really enjoyed his fur pieces, the one shouldered look and those chunky knits

I have a soft spot for anything grey or tweed ... so I enjoyed it a lot. But I'm not a fan of camel and grey together

^ Uninspired is right. Looks frumpy too but overall 'ok', not exactly pushing the boundaries of design. The knits look cozy though..

im not a fan of MK at all but was shocked to see how decent this collection was. everything looks relaxed, cozy and surprisingly luxe.

Kors really has been knocking it out of the park lately... this is very cozy, and it looks so warm and comfortable and snuggly. It's really nice.

I swear every season, every second comment in a Kors thread is 'oh I don't really like his work but this is great!'. Just admit it, he's been killing it recently (well F/W 2013 was messy in parts)!

This collection is the first decent thing I've seen in NY so far. Sure it's rather derivative but it's brilliantly edited. So many great coats and knitwear and subtle embellishment on the womenswear. Even the fur pieces look like tasteful accessories for once!
