Love it. Thanks for posting, runner
Thanks, Vey Nice. Marina
nice mix of color's.
the tall boots are killer. i saved these two for inspiration, they may be my mantra come fall.
fashionsnap thanks to runner!
on a purely informative sidenote, the y's red label collection will be sold only on the japanese market from this season on.
oh how disappointing! why?
the tokyo collections are being presented after the paris showroom sales and i think it had to do with the fact that the red label sizing ran considerably smaller than usual y's... anyway, as far as i have been informed, yohji yamamoto inc. is doing 70% of their business on the domestic japanese market, compaired to only 30% in the rest of the world.
^thanks for the news, tricotine, that is incredibly disappointing, as Red Label has been my favorite of the lines since it was introduced.
This is absolutely gorgeous, stunning...Michiko is so very, very talented. I hope her work becomes accessible to the rest of the world again soon.
^i know, one of my favorite's is a warm grey wool handkerchief tunic that was a lucky find of the century. whenever i was in the yy store it never failed that red label were always the pieces that caused the most stir inside. i cant tell you how much i love this line... it embodies an emotional experience that will be dearly missed.
Ys Red Label 09/10 video I took and edited for Jcreport.com- it shows the entire collection and an interview with Suzuki
if anyone can`t see it, the link is here
maybe TFS doesn`t allow embeds?
^i'm sure if you can embed youtube vids you can embed those. you still might need to credit though.
btw,was this actually shown early because JFW doesn't begin till today?
Ys was shown off-schedule, yes- JFW began yesterday, now in the second day (look out for MATOHU, it was gorgeous!)
...sorry, video won`t embed, it seems

I have been eagerly awaiting MATOHU!!!
Thanks so much for the video, off to watch it now.
Remind me how much I LOVE Tokyo fashion week!
i HATE the text/words.
but I love her and obviously a lot of other things about it, so I am torn. the last couple were just breathtaking but I don't find this so special. maybe it will grow on me. looking forward to seeing the pieces in person, though
