Mihara Yasuhiro Men SS 06 Milan

i love this collection, this is probably one of the best ss06 homme collections i've seen so far. thanks for the pics.

I like some of the clothes...but most of the outfits don't like to me

Pretty good, I guess. I take it this guy is pretty expensive? After skimming through once, I'll say I'd take that grey jacket in post #8. I think I've got a thing for grey jackets.

The proportions and cut on this look make me feel like

It's so extremely unflattering. The rest is what Dior Homme should've been.

not sure what you're talking about Diorling?

The cargo pants look great...

I think it's just the model which makes it look bad perhaps...

I'm not sure what the prices are in the US, but in Japan, he's not terribly expensive, at least in comparison with designers such as Dior homme or Yohji. I'd say pants are in the $300 range, top end, and shirts about $175-250 (of course, these prices would be in Japanese yen, or 35,000 yen for pants and 20,000 yen + for shirts). Compare this to Dior or Yohji where top end pants are more than $500-700 (55,000-75,000 yen respectively).

Thankyou for the pricing info John...Very reasonable...

do you know of any japanese sites or stores who carry his pants...

cheers.

Jhaime,

Unfortunately, I'm not sure of any websites. There are a few stores near me locally that carry Mihara, which is where I've always seen his stuff. However, they are quite small, local shops and so I doubt they'd be much help to anybody outside western Japan.

In terms of larger shops or websites, perhaps runner will have some more information? He tends to be the resident tfs expert on Japanese brands. :D

I like some fo ti alot, but some of it looks kind of tacky.

softgrey I AGREE
There are plenty of pieces that i like...but the way that they're put together turns me off, totally.

The painted over / chipping off thing is something that asfour uses a lot

Also, wait, so...is this the same guy who did shoes for Puma?
