Yeah, she did look boring on the red carpet, but I still think she looks gorgeous. Ok, she has had some better fitting dresses in the past, but to me she'll always look beautiful.

I wanted to say some other thing that I just forgot...

Doubt it, she has had little major press for the past few months and the next films (Ted, Oz) won't come out till mid 2012 at least. This was her chance to get some positive buzz around her again, it would be dumb to squander it.

I agree with this logic.

Are we forgetting so soon the underwhelming dress Mila chose to wear to the Military Ball to blend in with the other women? If it's not HER night, she tends to dress basic blue/navy.

I'm not a 100% fan of this dress. It needed more volume or something, movement, I'm not sure, but it's not a total miss. Different hair would've helped.

^Yeah, but at least she looked adorable at the Military Ball. Very appropriate. Here, she just looked a boring mess. I mean, even her dress last year was rather dull. Versace, Elie Saab and McQueen always work well on her.

Ironically enough, last night one of her assistants was wearing the same black Versace with the gold medals that Mila wore previously in 2011 to the CNN White House Correspondents Dinner. Same shoes and everything.

There were so many lovely Dior options she couldve worn but this is the most blandest one, its like she wanted to fade into the backround. Her face and hair is gorg as always but she can do so much better than this, hope she turns it out at the other shows like she did last year at each one

I'm actually really pissed about her Dior contract because now I'm alays gonna be worried about her look on the red carpet. When I see how blah she looked on Sunday and think about her gorgeous emerald green dress from last year it really pisses me off.
I hope she won't screw up at the Oscars because her Elie Saab dress last year was mind blowing.
