There's something with her (albeit a limited amount) tests that irks me, perhaps because her faces seems to photograph old. She just kind of reads down market to me, but then again I'm rarely a fan of IMG test shoots.

From that fabulous name to her sideline as a singer/guitarist/drummer for a rock band, everything about Mimi Blix screams superstar. Of African and Norwegian roots, former ballet dancer Mimi is 16 years old and was discovered by a photographer in Oslo.

Until of course I saw that first image on O2W. Sans the eye makeup she looks much softer and engaging. I'll be interested to see what happens with Mimi.

Her actual name is Miriam Blix Mutabazi, she was born 1st September 1991 in Askim, Norway. Her mom is Norwegian while her dad is Ugandian. She started modelling at the age of 4 (!), and the Norwegian media are predicting that she'll be as successfull as the Norwegian models Iselin Steiro and Siri Tollerød. She is actually the first Norwegian model to be signed to IMG. She's been told by people in the industry to keep her curves, and she says herself that she feels like the focus now in the industry is rather to be healthy than really skinny. She currently lives in London, and she will most probably appear in more and more shows.

Her face is definitely gorgeous, and she's just sixteen! But I agree that she is somewhat a commercial model, but not in a bad way.
