The fabrics look really nice in motion.

It's been around, what, 3-4 years since I last heard from Mina so this is a very pleasant surprise, and it's still so easily identifiable, very quirky and very Japanese too, Akira makes those volumes and colors clash with such harmony.

^^well- you are right- it is all about the prints...and the shape...
and that is a signature/trademark of this line...
so i guess you just don't get it...
not to worry...some of us do and enjoy it very much...
i'm very glad to see the return of mina perhonen to tFS

two things-

one-
i didn't really think that the video told me anything about the clothes that i didn't already know from the still pics...
so, i am not sure it was really necessary to do it...though it does look like they had some fun making it themselves...
...

two-
there are a couple of pieces in the beginning of the video that i do not actually see in the images...
some bright prints with some neon...
it made me think of this, that i wrote in another thread...

little by little... i am becoming very interested in bits of neon colour here and there...
esp this green...but also orange and pink...and some yellow...
usually mixed with some darker blue/deep purple colur...

it could look a bit like insanity in the video, but it seems that it is expressing the concept of this collection, some kind of dual personality, like you in me, otherness in sameness.

prism is easily my fave print from this collection...
it's not quite as neon as i imagined...but i think that actually makes it easier to wear...
and it is exactly what i have been thinking about and feeling lately...
i don't usually like prints so much...but this is an exception...
i like both colour combos, in fact...
and the shape of the dress is great too...
yea...totally great...
feels good for early fall in that fabric...

i also love that skirt that is open in the back...
and my second fave print is on that red/wht dress - the first one in post #2
i think it's embroidery from what i could see in the video- so not really a print...
it appears in several garments...
i like that...it's graphic enough to be clean but not so clean that it feels stiff...
there's something very appealing there...
