oh i am so delighted somebody started a thread on her! i adore her. she has always been italy's answer to shirley bassey. huge voice that seems to come out like silk. very natural.

her version of morricone's se telefonando is wonderful.

and yes,before we ever heard of grace jones and even before david bowie really started to experiment with his image,there was mina. she was one of the first to dare.

Yes, Se telefonando "é bellissima" her all time hit song. I'm surprised, Françoise Hardy only sings Italian songs? good taste, the Italian singers of the period between 1960-1970 were the best.
