Where do you guys suggest i get them from in the UK? I used to buy my minnetonkas off shoebuy but now with the terrible dollar/pound exchange rate they are alot more expensive and the official uk website is a rip off. any help would be very appreciated as im desperate for some more! thank you

I just recently bought a pair of minnietonka's and they are so comfortable I wear them mostly indoors though. But I noticed that it bleeds through your socks, which may or may not be a problem in the future..

Would it be a very bad idea to wear Minnetonkas in snow? Not exactly piles of snow, but the thin layer that covers the ground most of this season..

I'm worried about ruining the suede

^ You should make sure to treat them with a water repellent spray if you really want to wear them in the snow.

I wouldn't recommend it however, because I found when they got wet the water soaks through the leather and the dye stains my socks. Also, my feet got wet when I've worn them in snow. If it's just a dry powder-y snow I guess you could, but rain or any other type of snow I'd say no.

Ah, just like I suspected.. I think I'll wear them in dry snow anyway.

Oh and forget about the bleeding, since I'm experiencing that even with no snow on the ground but if you do wear it in the snow and there salt in the snow that when your gonna have a problem. I recommend you don't do it, since the salt will stain the boots with this white looking residue... trust me it is not cute
