Miranda Kerr

I expected her to look somewhat out of place at Prada, but she doesn't! She really blends in with the other HF models and manages to look amazing. :woot:

I love that models are not so divided anymore. Maybe Miuccia isn`t the first one to do it, but this definitely gets the most attention. I just hope it is not just one time wonder.

I'm so glad for her and I think she looked the best of all the VS models, I agree. I think she is the most appropiate one for HF anyways.

she is literally breathtaking in the PRADA show. the natural makeup ... the accentuated eyebrows. she's stunning!! really heightens the clothes, as well -- and what more could you ask for from a model?

hope to see her in Paris!!

Btw: I must say, I don't think Miranda is trying to be a 'high fashion' model or a 'commercial' model. I think she just does whatever is thrown her way. Of course commercial is her type of market, and that market led her to more opportunities. I think she is just trying to do the best she can, and every opportunities she's been given, she's taken.

Finally, someone agrees with me.^_^ great that it's you, Kito. She has never been too commercial and she has never been too HF, just bits here and there (leaning towards commercial, obviously). :

She looks very petite at Prada. Not overly stunning but very pretty and demure.

Now, Balenciaga. Not till Wednesday. We are gonna need some candids.

^_^ Agreed.
But, IMO, she was too commercial in 2006-2008. :innocent: But even before 2006 she still slightly got more commercial work. (Campaigns with Maybelline, L'oreal, catalog work with VS, catalog work in general) But it's just the type of market Miranda would attract.
But I agree, Randa just goes with the flow-- And I'm proud of everything she's achieved since arriving to new york.

Yes, I'm ready for Balenciaga. :shifty: We probably won't even recognize her in the show, like last time.

Thanks, Jess for the Prada runway vid. Love Miranda's walk.

what else do you want from her? for goodness sake, she walked PRADA! that's major. Girls would kill to walk Prada. It's one of the most, if not, only exclusive show to walk in, in Milan. The models get more attention than the collection.

 what's wrong with wanting to see more of her? Absolutely nothing imo.
And I'm very aware that Prada is major. I'm not an idiot

^ I know right!

I would have absolutely love, love, love to see backstage pics at Prada of Miranda with Cat and Abbey! Aussie girls Unite!

I'm not her biggest fan in the least bit (and it has nothing to do with her doing mostly commercial work but I love them just as much) but even I have to admit that she looked pretty stellar at Prada

So glad to see a beautiful girl like Miranda on the Prada runway. Certainly my sentiment originates from the true supermodel era when being gorgeous and commercially-successful don't break catwalk deals (cue Linda Evangelista walking for Comme des Garcons). When you are a truly amazing model, you move fluidly between high fashion and commercial; I never saw it necessary to divide the two.

^Very, very, well said. :flower:

Love the backstage pic. Her smile, her smile...
