I love the styling, the layering etc etc but this doesn't feel very Missoni to me. That very Missoni aesthetic of Italian glamour is missing from this collection.

And whilst the nomad-aesthetic is phenomenal, I can't help but ask where the evening wear is? It's severely lacking on that element. But I guess that's what a recession does; it creates the need for blatant wearability!! Obviously this is not the time for thousand dollar dresses! :innocent:

    I love the styling, too!
But the grey leggings remind me of theri F/W 06 show.

Missoni barely catch my eyes most of the times ....
except when it comes to ad campains ...
but this ... WOW .... one of the biggest surprise of the whole season so far !!!

i have to look at it again ... but that's gonna be a huge HIT in the press i'm sure ....

i was wondering why MP would talk about MJ ... and then I saw this post ....
could you please for once forget your references .... please .....
    :ninja:

because this has nothing to do with MJ AW 06 .... i think you looked the wrong way on the globe ... and you should check your MJ's classics ...
MJ used a lot of socks, tartan, leopard ... that aren't there obviously ... MJ was a grunge revival (I think Fashion History learns us MJ is the Grunge Master) Missoni is a nomad-desert-mountain thing ...
and when you see homeless, I prefer to see a woman who's leaving our messed society to walk for a winter road-trip ... you see it's not the same idea ...

I don't want to sound ignorant but can someone please explain me the 'styling' part? Is it the total look every model wore on the runway?

    ^^Thanks for the details.

Couldnt agree more with you, it seems some members cant post a comment about collections without finding "references", i think it's tiring aswell, its in every thread, just ignore it i would say.:flower:

this is glorious. Top notch styling, really, and the pieces are beautiful, the details are absolutely to die for. I guess I kind of agreed about the shoes at first until I saw details. This is one of my favorites this season, definitely.
