MM6 Maison Margiela F/W 2021.22 Milan

I actually like what MM6 does because they use the archives and it kinda goes back into the more Martin-like vibe. BUT something that bothers tF out of me (maybe it shouldn't lol) is the separate MM6 brand marketing and logo. It just turns me off for some reason. I'd like it better if they'd just use the same 1-23 tag and circle 6. Perhaps that's just me getting caught up in a status type thing, but I think it would totally elevate everything.

this is so good, fits more with paris but i love love love the styling, so many great pants and coats

I agree! That was my first thought when seeing this collection. It is very Margiela-esque. While being a diffusion brand, I personally think this line captures the spirit of the house's founder in a more accurate manner when compared to MMM's RTW and artisanal units. Take look 15 for example. The straps of the dress are pulled down to the waist to form a high-waisted sack shape skirt. It is very anti-fashion and extremely Belgium.

MM6 is more Margiela than the main line. I wonder sales wise how the main line Galliano show is doing.
