Rich white people problems. Lol
Completely agree! It's beyond embarrassing. I mean, I was honestly believing she'd talk about something meaningful like her anxiety or what have you but to have this big "story" just end up be a proactiv ad? I mean, c'mon! Like you said, she probably doesn't even use the stuff and instead gets the best skin products/treatments (inc cosmetic surgery) money can buy. Now I get a lot of young men and women suffer from acne and causes them to be insecure etc but to have KJ pretend it was going to end her world...pathetic! I hope she gets dragged under the bus for this.
I don't even know what to say about this lol. It's just ridiculous
I feel bad for anyone who honestly believes she uses an overpriced bottle of benzoyl peroxide that used to sell on infomercials in the 2000s. I'm sure the money she gets is big, but the optics on this are barely an improvement on Pepsigate. Once again she's shown to be completely out of touch with the real world. I think part of it is she's just not a natural spokesperson for products for two reasons. Firstly because she's not much of a talker and secondly anyone who's ever watched their show already knows how orchestrated and well oiled their lives are, so it doesn't feel sincere.
Seriously though, from EL to Proactiv. The Kardashians are slipping into irrelevance and I'm here for it!
Seems like people aren't buying it lmao
I didn't even know proactive still existed
I know she's a Kardashian but this feels like something a D-list celebrity would flog. You'd think the "highest paid model" could do better than proactive.....
Hope now we can forget that Kendall ever happened. She is a bad model, she doest bring anything relevant to the table and she hate everything that is not related with herself. She could had a OK career if she had focused in doing only runaway shows (she have a OK walk), but no, she really wanna to be "above all us" and be that "super exclusive model" when she doest have any skills to do that.
She not gonna be "totally canceled" like they are saying, but I hope to see her only at things like VSF and LOVE magazine, the type of things that we pretend that are relevant, but we all know that they are not.
It seems like models in today's era are able to do basic commercial jobs and still land HF campaigns and magazine covers but this feels very low and tacky even for a Kardashian.
Kendall's main problems are that she is not an intelligent girl and has the worse management. Her mother is all about a paycheck and she's the one who orchestrated this whole thing. Unfortunately, until Kendall is able to use her brain cells and take some control of her career... things like this will continue to occur.
She appears desperate for money and.... really tone deaf. Poor girl.
I recall seeing a clip from US Vogue's Festival where her, Gigi, Ashley Graham, and Paloma were on a panel. The rest of the girls were very outspoken about the industry and how they experience it. But Kendall just kept piggybacking on whatever Gigi said. And I'm like, how and why????? She's got so much of her own narrative and talking point. Was she clever enough she could've used that platform as a way to publicly address all her missteps, what she learned from it, explain how come she work so little yet still get the big covers and campaigns, and how other models may feel about that, the challenges she faces in the industry (being shunned by certain editors and photographers due to her family - it's happening, not debatable) That's her thing, her cult, being hated on that is. Embrace and monetise it, while guilt-tripping all of us for being classists or whatever. Nobody's looking to her Gigi, and to some extent, the other two to change the world. Or rather, nobody should.
She could've dominated that discussion. But instead, she came across as exceedingly dumb as Kylie, which I'm sure she's not really.
Anyway, looked the clip up. Here it is:
^ Saw that clip when it first came out and thought the same thing. Paloma’s a very articulate speaker, from what I’ve gathered from them, Ashley and Gigi are very well-spoken and professional, and then, of course, Kendall along with the rest of the family thrive on the PR side of things. I feel especially in this social media age and within the nepo-realm of the industry... and even more so especially with the whole Pepsi thing Kendall could’ve REALLY amplified the conversation into something much bigger but she didn’t add on much at all. I think at the time she was on the panel, the whole Love Magazine “30 shows or whatever those girls do” comments were starting to take its toll as well??? But none of it was mentioned.
Ashley was without a doubt the leader of the conversation and brought up so many great points. Kendall did the bare minimum.
Anybody who follows her and was waiting with anticipation on her big reveal has only himself to blame. Like seriously...you're following a Kardashian...since when has any of these people ever done anything where they're not getting paid? I can't wait for that whole clan to become irrelevant with more social hatred from acts like this. And mind you, I like her as a model, but not enough to be following her like those fans of hers.
At least Kendull keeps giving me new reasons to dislike her even more.
Via The Sun:
'“Lottie, just like Kate, loves to party and have a drink. She brought Lulu (her pet Chihuahua) to a house party, as lots of her pals wanted to meet her. She mainly carried Lulu due to her size but she knew it would be a safe environment for her dog to roam free if she put her down. As the night went on, Lottie became the life and soul of the bash. She spent a lot of time flirting with a mystery hunk. They snuck off together for a bit to get some alone-time and Lottie later went home in the early hours of the next morning. The only problem was she forgot to take Lulu home with her. So, it was left to her pals to take care of her. Fortunately, Lottie realised the next morning and went to pick up her pooch with her tail between her legs. She felt incredibly guilty.”
The fact that someone spent time to "report" on this non-story and then people wasted time to read this (including me, thanks, Ben!) is just...
Gigi went off on Postmates on Twitter:
Why does she keep using Postmates if she's not happy with them? There are many other companies offering that service or am I missing something?
Watch the CEO respond directly to her in 3....2....
She's not wrong and I love that she's making sure they treat all their customers respectfully and not give her special treatment because of who she is.
