there were no previously unseen girls at prada, though, no exciting exclusives

maybe for the better, since they usually get hyped to death, and then everyone considers it a failure if they don't book every single important show the following season
but definitely less exciting for the model spotters, and the lineup was disappointing in general

you will also have examples like Prada - last campaign includes girls (at least one ) that didn't walk the show but might be favorites of the photographer, the stylist etc.

All S/S 09 girls did the S/S 09 show, no? Or did you mean today's show?

I know. Poor girl. I'm really stunned at how underwhelming her show list has been so far this season. ESPECIALLY in Milan.

And I won't even go there with Natalia Chabanenko.

The Prada cast was pretty stellar. Kendra Spears and Meghan showing up was a pleasant surprise

I could see the Katlin Aas thing coming.. she walked all russel marsh cast shows in London,then was mysteriously missing from Milan..
but surprised not to see Amanda laine... campaign girls Toni and Katrin not there.. was really happy to see Meghan Collison, Lara, sasha, Alyona, hanne.. and v. glad and relieved not to see Eliza C.. hehe

Katlin was expected, but as opener/closer? I don't understand why they didn't have a worldwide exclusive (besides Ymre, if she's one). Surely many new girls were on option. So disappointing.

i feel like a girl like rose cordero, who turned up in the middle of shows in Milan could have been on option then dropped.. but then again she may have been away shooting something.. i thought that prada could have had a little more diversity, disappointed in that..

I have to admit I expected a more spectacular face to open as well, especially after Ymre and her glamour looks, but oh well. It's more interesting to observe who are becoming the new Pradettes (as in regulars to Prada including the campaign, lookbooks, etc).
