Same here. I've been heavily liking her from day one, and then her career took a slower pace. I like how subtle her face/features are. Not that show-off, in-your-face kind of beauty but the kind of model that keeps haunting your editorial dreams even during 'silent' times. I hope this is more of a comeback than a cameo.

Definitely hope so.

But Awar's power goes far beyond Chanel's "borders". She was absolutely breathtaking everywhere she went this season. It was a treat to see her everytime she was cast for a show, like, her presence sticks to your mind (even if it's just photographs). Let she be, especially in editorials (it's gonna be grand with that kind of charisma of hers).

It was very strange that Lulu, despite her beauty contract, didn't show. Perhaps the clause is different, so she has to participate in the audience.

Awar completely stole the last proper day of FW and probably the whole season with that beaming smile and strut of hers as she closed Chanel. Such a deserved moment on top of the Louis Vuitton closing slot (and Tory Burch LOL ). Now I want to see her winning streak hit the print game full force.

Chanel's cast was a bit inconsistent otherwise (typical Anita). Seeing Kendra and Alek was great though.

On another note Sacai's cast was strong, although not quite as wonderfully cohesive as the Fall show. The highlight this time was seeing Eva in that all white look. I missed Sacha, Sora and Anok there. Maybe Vittoria too who had a few opening and closing slots there a few seasons ago.

Some final thoughts from me: Piergiorgio absolutely nailed it, stealing the show even from Vogel and Brokaw. Great season for Sara Caballero, who rose to fame, but also for Jacqui Hooper, practically everywhere in her second season. Amazing! Sascha, we missed you! Libby T turned out to be a true diva: she walked, if I’m not mistaken, about 20 shows just in Paris, and this makes me think she could really shine next season, especially if she includes Milan. Awar has been a queen, and she’s proven it on several occasions, the most recent being Chanel yesterday. Bella Hadid's YSL exclusive was nice, but it got tiring; there’s no anticipation, no hype... it’s just that, and nothing more. It’s not working.
I didn’t miss Gigi’s absence on the runways. My favorite castings were probably Tory Burch, Boss, Tom Ford, Givenchy, and Isabel Marant. The thing that surprised me the most? Seeing Beauise do only two shows after Prada in exclusive and Vittoria absent from Chanel RTW for the first time in years. Mary Ukech has returned to do a few shows with Piergiorgio and walked her first Chanel, I believe she’s friends with Blazy. Oh, and speaking of, the Chanel casting was quite disappointing: Bitton’s proposal felt lackluster, and I would have preferred something with more personality. Maybe a casting with Duclos would have been better?
One more note: I’d love to see more of Claudia Campana. She’s a face I find incredibly interesting and has a lot to offer.

I do not like Bitton's casting, usually ever - because who has she ever discovered that has become a true star?? But this wasn't had bad tbh!
( But Felice + Anok, my two favorites were in the show, and that Awar moment? Can't complain this time haha )

Alix never walked or have much connection with Bottega, so as much as I wished for a walk at Chanel, I was not quite surprised by her absence.

Still, as a fan, I'm baffled by the fact that she skipped Milan, only walked eight shows in Paris, and only two in the last four days. Wonder if it has anything to do with her new hair color, or if it's simply the result of the winds of change that's happening today, tomorrow and every day in the industry.
