OMG!!! Can someone help me out please?... How to say "Iekeliene Stange”... The words doesn't come out right in my mouth I think... It's frustrating cuz I really like her.. :P (A quick response would be nice.. cuz I've been struggling with it for months... haha) Thanks... :D

Oh Thanks so very much :)... I had no clue about the "a" in the end but... And the last name "Stange"... Is it just as it says?, or is more like "Steng".. I'm not sure...
But Thanks for the help again ;)

And I have a general question about Russian models' names (Pivovarova; Roslyakova; Dvorakova). Which is the stressed vowel, or is there one? Sometimes it sounds like you just say the whole word very fast and don't emphasize any vowel. Other times it sounds like you emphasize like PivoVArova, RoslyAkova ...

^ yes, that's right, in Russian every word has a stressed vowel (which you don't really notice all the time though, but there is one). so it is Pivovarova and Roslyakova. and i think it's Dvorakova, even though it actually is not a Russian name so it may differ (like in Natasa Vojnovic it'd be Vojnovic if it was a Russian name). in general there's no one rule of what vowel is stressed. so it varies.

:O I was pronouncing Iekeliene's name Jacqueline, cause it's the Dutch equivalent. Boy was I wrong!

Frackowiack is something like Fr(upside down E) - koe - vach (Ch as in Christopher)

I can't seem to get Kate Moss' name right. Is it Kah-tay Mose? Kay-tie Moose? :p

Serious one: Noot Seear? I've been pronouncing it Newt Sear, but I think that's wrong.

how about giselle B and Magdalena F's surnames? ^_^

Magda's been covered :) but with Gisele it's a tad two way. In her native tongue, which is also my dad's, it's pronounced "je-ze-lee bind-chen" whereas the Americanized pronounciation is like "je-zell bund-chin". I'm a little rusty with my Portuguese, but my dad pronounced it for me and I heard her say it in an interview. If anyone can confirm it, it would greatly be appreciated :flower:

strubegger:
st (spoken as sht like in shoot only without the double 'o')
ru (u pronounced like the double 'o' in shoot)
begg (like beg)
er (spoken like 'ah')
