The World's Most Searched Models [Google]

Google revealed its list of the top searched people and celebrities a few months ago, like every year.

That got me curious, and with the data from the very useful Google Trends website I did a ranking of The Most Searched Models Of 2012.

I compared all Supers, all girls from the various models.com-lists, the VS-girls, SI, the most popular plus-size models, the most popular girls from thefashionspot, and more. At the end I decided to post the ~100 most searched models.

> Keep in mind that this ranking is in no way official and probably not complete because I forgot to include some models. And the bar chart values are just an approximation extracted from the images on Google Trends and not 100% accurate.

This is expected though. Cara's really popular on the internet, especially on Tumblr. Even my friends who know nothing about fashion and models know who Cara is.

Really surprised that Lena Gercke is so high. I know she's done some mainstream stuff, but I never would've thought that she would've been more searched than models like Coco (appeared on ANTM) or Chanel (VS and hangs out with celebs). Maybe they searched her because they had no idea who she was?

^ I think she is only so high because she is the girlfriend of a famous football player (Khedira). She really didn't do anything special as a model last year.
