Oof it's happening. First they lost Meghan Roche to IMG and now a majority of their stars are switching to Elite NYC.

Did Elite NY have that strong of a roster prior to all this switching around? I feel like Naki, Sijia, and Xie Chaoyu were probably their more busy models?

Elite NYC's roster was actually fairly weak. Poaching Women doesn't solve their problem -- they don't have a strong network of sister agencies in Europe and Asia to feed their pipeline of new girls. Unless, they've done something to address that.

Woah, that's a lot to digest if true. TMZ exclusives are usually accurate... but if it's not insider info, it usually doesn't hold much validity. We'll see if Alicia Burke, Giedre and/or Ophelie are listed on the new site (and they probably will be)

Alicia, Giedre and Ophelie probably arent even the biggest names to switch! Wouldnt be surprised if Poly, Feifei Sun or MCB are going to Elite as well.

^ I believe MCB moved to IMG a few months back, so contractually she wouldn’t be able to switch. Natasha and Fei Fei would be HUGE switches.

Alana Zimmer has since been another name mentioned in multiple articles regarding the Women & Elite fiasco.

Who is the guy who moved to Elite? A booker, the head booker, someone in management? Would he be in a position that all the top Women models would follow him? Something's been happening at Women for months even before he left. Some defections here and there that made me wonder what was happening. Ever since that talent agency bought The Society and Women, Women has been been undergoing a slow attrition. And its pipeline of new girls hasn't been as strong.

I did contact Alicia yesterday regarding the original TMZ article on the matter (and other articles which have followed) and while Giedre and Ophelie have switched, Alicia has said she has not switched to Elite, although she’s not with Supreme either.
