chitose abe of sacai designed a capsule collection for moncler.
it will come out next year as S/S 10 moncler S.
14 pieces, available in white, black and olive.

someone seems to have just changed the title,
    but it's moncler S designed for S/S 10, not "Moncler S/S 2010".

    thank you!
    but doesn't it look a bit confusing ? " Moncler S S/S 2010 "
that's part of why I intended this thread to be a general one.

maybe sarcasm labeled "sarcasm" is not a great idea.

but seriously the performance of today's nylon is sometimes beyond silk.

    meh

synthetics are, for me, still more insulating than most natural fibers. i'll stick to silk, cotton and linen for the summer.

    Damn, this is cool...
Moncler gets better and better as the seasons go by...
I love the all-encompassing nature of the presentation too... suits the pieces very well..

Coming from someone currently residing in Miami, I'd wear a lot of it... :ninja:

yes- well..this is what moncler is about though...
    so what should they do...
not produce a collection for spring at all?
    ^_^

and just because you buy it in the spring..who is to say that is when you must wear it...
fashion is becoming more and more about seasonless dressing...
especially due to climate changes, etc...

my god- if i buy a jacket..i hope to be able to wear it for more than just the 6 months of the current season...
   ......

    in any case...
    i think it is lovely..
a unique and lovely marriage of designer and brand...
the light and feminine feel are so much the SACAI signature...
as are the sportier touches ...
i love the lightness of it all...

so much lighter than what JUNYA just did for example...
though i might like to see what he would do with moncler as well...
    now there's a thought...
    *hmmm

    :innocent:
