i like the fit, but the prints are overdone to my taste. Then again im biased as hell:blush:

I like the lion t-shirt.

I bet it's a gazillion hundred dollars though :( and not available in Québec

hello quebec!
montreal aussi?

even with the freezing cold..i miss my city..
:flower:

i love this.... I always see it at Fred Segal...

Was in harvey nicks today and looked through some of their stuff.... not really that impressed

didn't know harvey nic's carried them. They've been around for awhile and popular with the LA crowd for the same length of time. I like fun prints but it's no different than any other line out there.

There's a little feature on them in the last issue of Elle....it said they give hand-distressed treatments to cashmere. The particular sweater they had in it was nice enough. The graphics are a bit overrated, imo, and already a distinct feature in the work of Libertine. Is that an L.A. thing, btw? All in all,I'd say it's basically a t'shirt/sweater version of Libertine.

yea its been in LA for a while..i like some of their stuff but it reminds me of grail a lot heh

i have mixed feelings...
they did denim for the first time this season...
very clean simple japanese denim in a skinnny cut and slight boot cut...
available only in dk grey denim and bone (antiqued w/a hand-painted finish)
and will bring forth a whole denim line for fall 06 at coterie...

SOrry but its played... i hate those polo tshirts with the logo on the inside of the collar.. the worst f*&*%$g trend.. and thhe whole gothic font emblem stuff in gold is so old..theres a label here in sydney that does something similar but in a more large scale and with crappy fabrics..called industrie why by far has generated some of the worst trends... but skinny japanese denim sounds ok but like i said its done and is nothing new...
"designer" streetwear labels annoy me sometimes..

Are they still hot? I'm still totally intrigued by everything they make but has their effect worn off in general? Was no one impressed to begin with?

I thought this one was really creative and daring:

I was reading WWD recently and I saw a shot of a dress from their most recent show and honestly, it was like the hottest thing I ever saw. It doesn't even compare to that dress above.

Anyway, thoughts? Comments?

P.S. I hate their jeans ick.

There is a little piece on them on STYLE.COM for their fall 07 collection.
It's in the (Art) Inspirations section
