i watched this show for the first time tonight
its so dumb and i dont believe its at all real

I heard it was a fake. A girl on another message board said Kirsten graduated from a university not too long ago near where she live. But I might like the show if I know it was fake but if its real than thats just sad.

yeah...i retract my earlier statement in which i conceded that its real...its not, it cant be..i saw a episode in which one dude was talking to his friend while he was driving...so the cameraperson should be in the passanger seat because we see the dude driving in the car..but then there is anotehr shot outside the car and there is no one in the passenger seat! the show is fake...so fake

Stephen goes to SF State - my friend goes there, and she saw him at a club she went to recently, too. LC might go to the California College of Arts or the Academy of Art University in SF...

someone said that Lo is on theFacebook, but I don't know what college she's at.

I really don't see how people find the show to be fake. As someone said earlier, if these kids are acting, then they deserve Emmy's. I think everyone is really picking the show apart too much. I understand the different camera angles, but that is prob a result of it being filmed on the same day at different times, that's all.

yes, that is quite embarassing , well a season 2 is about to start. it's really fake and the girls shouldn't try to act like the characters from the o.c. Especially, the fat one that looks like Rachel Bilson....

Ha ha-I'm 24--I was hooked to it too--it's a guilty pleasure.
I was even thinking of buying it on DVD-it comes out tomorrow--then I thought about it for a bit and decided against it!

I know someone who worked with LC while the show was being taped and confirmed that the show is not exactly fake but not exactly real. The characters are not actors but all the scenes are set up. For example they would call the camara crew and say we will be here at this time for this scene. So there is definitely some "acting" going on.

^ yeah i think that's what it is. Cause if you watch it .. there's something unreal about it. The people are real and where it's taped but i feel as though there's a story line as to what's going to happen in each episode. I think it's a fake reality and it's a real boring one.

I'm in too..I'm 22 and tuned in with my roomate all of our senior year of college. Bluestar, you are right it is mindless entertainment And Glamourina, you are right as well, it's a major guilty pleasure and Stephen IS yummy!!
