I don't get why the decided to use full body shot instead of a close crop. The video is corny, bad cgi aside it looks like a coke commercial.

You call it corny, I call it incredibly creative and inventive.
The YouTube clip alone has 85k views in 4 days. It's been receiving buzz on Instagram like crazy.
With all of the content being created these days, it isn't easy to filter through. But Mugler has been consistent in their vision and ideation and this commercial shows it.

I think it's pretty f-ing brilliant: from the casting, to the music choice, to the narrative. It's not the the BEST commercial I've seen, but one of the more effective ones.
