Yes, Khan showed a collection during the Fall 05 Fashion Week. I liked a few pieces from it, but wasn't too impressed IIRC. I'd like to see more of this collection, though, I hope it'll be featured on Style or elsewhere.

Gorgeous prints on the last 2 dresses,but thats about it...Everything else has a been-there-done-that look to it..

But you're right: Yasmin does look great there...But can she look any other way?

I went to the Naeem Khan trunk show today - and I have to say the clothes are exquisite - they brought all the runway pieces from s/s 06 and some resort too and what was fab was they also brought pieces in real life sizes 6/8 evena few 10's for people to try.
On a side note for those interested - a little info I learnt today - Naeem worked for Halston in the 80's and has a large company in India which does the beading for Valentino, Oscar de La Renta, Badgeley Mischka, Vera Wang and others, can't remember them all - sorry
Also they uncommonly make a lot of their own fabric - I have to say it was one of the most stunning trunk shows I've seen recently

I will try to find a picture of the fantastic dress I tried today - I am thinking about ordering it, may go back tomorrow

^ Yes, he does gorgeous beadwork. I have a vintage dress of his that has exquisite detail.

Some of the dresses in this new collection are really pretty, they have a beautiful ethnic feel to them - other pieces I feel are a bit overdone IMO.
