TGP = I have the "black tie" from OPI too and I get so many compliments when I wear it. I LOVE it.

Chanel makes the best true black nailpolish EVER. It's called Laque Noir. Most Chanel counters do not have it in stock since it's not exactly a popular color, but sephora.com should have it. It retails around $17 US, I think.

Another really good true black is Milani's Black Magic ($2.99, Walgreens/CVS) but I prefer the Chanel because it stays glossy instead of dulling out like the Milani (or even Wet N Wild's 99 cent one) does.

...I wish Dior would make a black nailpolish for the Addict line. I'm sure it would be gorgeous, and it would be sparkly

i love Sally Hensen. Great, great quality. I like the nudes. Sometimes I do the creamy color or the pinkish nude or the one closest to my skin color -- a mocha like color. But I don't go with color, cuz for now, I'm hooked on the naturall look.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their black nailpolish suggestions. I actually found some at last today. In a Goth store, of all places...
The brand is called " mehron." Not sure of its quality, but I'm just happy to have finally gotten it.

My black nail polish is just perfect. I've had it so very long and being Mavala it's only 5ml, but God hasn't that gone far.

Speaking of favourites mine is whatever comes in scarlet or dirty pink.

Oh and I do like this world's best-seller, Chanel's Rouge Noir, but I buy the lookalikes because otherwise I'd have to go without food for quite a while.
