Nail Polish

Catrice London's Weather Forecast is very similar to CH Recycle. More in person than in the pics though. I'm wearing LWF right now. :D

It looks really good :flower: What do you think about China Glaze in general?

Like your blog btw ^_^

Oh, that is not my blog, it belongs to one of my favorite makeup bloggers!
CG has great shades, it's not my favorite brand though because I like thicker formulas like OPI or Zoya.

Oh, ok  Thank you. I really like Zoya but they're so hard to find online, I think.

I was given Chanel Le Vernis in Dragon for my birthday yesterday :) Such a beautiful red!

alessandro Go Fashion!

Can't wait for this collection to arrive in stores - nothing groundbreaking, but I think they did the colors so well!

^^ nice colors but I think they are way to expensive polish for that amount, and with no special quality to make up for that. I'd buy OPI or Esseie over it any day

Can anyone recommend a good vampy red? Almost like a black cherry red perhaps? A lot of the ones I see tend to have a brown undertone and I'm not a huge fan of that. Please and thanks? :flower:

Well... Chanel's Rouge Noir. It's a great classic.

Really nice color frk-frost. :)

I had totally forgotten about Rogue Noir

I was really pleasantly surprised by Limited Addiction. Especially how long it lasted.

^ or rouge fatal. i love that colour frk-frost. a good tip for applying dark polishes is to make sure you don't overload the brush or apply over the cuticles. then just dip a cotton swab in polish remover and clean up the edges.

Thanks - I'll try that. I always end up with polish all over the nails and outside too

i usually make sure that when i take the brush out the bottle i only have polish on one side of the brush and that it's just enough to cover one nail.

Nars Zulu is on the top of my list! Chanel rarely disappoints, the purple Strong one is gorgeous.

frk-frost, you could also try a nail polish remover pen - Essie and Orly both make them. They're godsends for me!

I can't live without nail polish corrector pen especially if I' don't use O.P.I.! Essence works for me and it's cheap as well (around 2€).

Dupes for these nude shades

Can anyone recommend a similar nude polish to this D&G one? Or a shade similar to Borghese's Almondine, but without the shimmer.

I think I actually have one, I just haven't bothered to use it :shifty: It's from Sephora and not very good. Maybe I should try another one

Thanks for the suggestions! I will most definitely be picking up Rouge Noir.

I have the Orly one and like it a lot. It comes with 2 replacement tips too. You can also use a small brush and nail polish remover (but the non-acetone stuff doesn't work well for this trick). I prefer to just do my nails right before bed and then shower in the AM and any small mistakes I've made will come off as I'm washing my hair :)

I got this color today - it has a purple sheen, very pretty!
