^I bought mini box those and shatter. Can't wait to test those.

I had green nailpolish (Bieber's Lime and It's not rocket science top of it) and those totally made my nails bright, neonish yellow. Unbelievable ugly. I guess they had to react some chemical when I was working, because even red has never made my nails looks so bad. But still, no more green a while for me. That's kind of sad that those lasted so good so long.. ironic!

I just painted the top of my coral nails orange. Unfortunately my execution of the idea is terrible :P but I love the idea of "colorblocking" on your nails :) . Thinking about trying yellow tips on turquoise...

This one is kind of ugly but I'm fascinated by the colour.

Strangely enough, I'm having a really hard time finding a good black nail polish.
I've tried cheap ones that peel after a day and I've tried some more expensive ones that were rather bland. Would you guys recommend OPI?

^I love opi black onyx! i used to use chanel black satin, but honestly, it's definitely not worth the price tag.

I have a color that's very similar to that yellow one....i think it's called fiercely fiona and it was released in the shrek collection. i bought it in one of the mini pack things and that was my least favorite until i tried it...it's strange but actually cool in a quirky kind of way...it looks great with a bit of a tan!

i have to get that silver shatter!! i have black shatter and i like it but i can't picture myself using it in the summer...it looks so good with mermaids tears, which i really want too!!

I got soak-off gel polish manicure today. I'm thrilled, I'm definitely doing it again.:woot:

Zoya Hermina is a pale rose gold (to me at least) and it applies very well for a metallic and it's not too frosty or bright to wear for work

Here they are!:D

Sorry, it's not a good photo. Acutally I was taking pictures of my cat.

im wearing chanel mimosa.. yay or nay? i kinda love it.

I'm LOVING the color! Does anyone have tips for applying yellow shades? Chanel Mimosa is out of my budget so I've tried OPI for Sephora and Sally Hansen. Both have needed at least three coats making it nearly impossible to apply. Plus the extra coats make for chipped nails by day 2 :(

^ Have you tried applying an opaque white shade as a base coat, before you apply the yellow?

I'm not a huge fan of gel nails. The process is really damaging to your nails -- Worse than acrylics, IMO. But if you want to try them, I would stay away from OPI. I've heard that OPI's gel has more chemicals and is more damaging than Shellac and Gelish.
