Nail Polish

It really does...I love "Louvre me or louvre me not" and "We'll always have Paris". Looks like I will be making a trip to Ulta soon :innocent:

I might have to go to ULTA this weekend too iLoveCouture.
I'm really excited for fall, i always like the darker colors better in everything from clothes to makeup to nailpolishes.

Right now I wear a dark brownish red on my fingernails, nothing on my toes.

Can anyone recommend a nice, long-lasting green apple/neon green nail polish? Preferably one that's relatively inexpensive (under $10), if it's not too much to ask for. Thanks!

OPI GREEN-WICH VILLAGE, from the Mod About Brights Collection sounds like the perfect shade, and it's only $6 or $7.

I didn't even know they were launching a line at Sephora - I'll have to check it out! ^_^

Does anyone know of any stores that carry OPI's Mod About Brights Collection? I'd like to see the colors in person before making a purchase.

^^It's expensive ($9 before tax) and according to some people "gloopy." I only like Metro Chic so I'm just going to find a similar color elsewhere.

Here are some swatches of Mod about Brights that Seanut was asking about :flower:

Right now for my fingernails I'm all about really short, squarish well manicured nails with clear polish. I just think it looks chic. I saw the Chanel gold at the store the other day but I'm not sure how i feel about it...has anyone tried it yet?

I bought my sister the dark brown sephora nail polish for her bday. I tried it myself and I absolutely loved it!

I really want to go to Sephora and check out the collaboration with OPI.
I'm thinking about getting 'Dating a Royal' from the Mod Collection, the allaqueredupblog has a picture and it looks great. Although I'm thinking I should invest more in fall colors at this point, I am loving the darker colors.

Thanks for posting those! Green-wich Village is absolutely perfect - I hope I'll be able to get my hands on it.

I feel like buying something navy...Blue Satin didn't really do it for me.

I can't wait for the Dior Fall 2008 and Chanel Holiday Collection 2008. Dior has Mystic Violine ( i think it's the one Stam wears in the ad) and Chanel has one called Haute Chocolate (gold brown). They both sound AH-mazing!!

O.P.I.'s Russian Navy is really amazing. In a certain light, it'll reflect indigo:

Thanks! I'm also thinking about Yoga-ta get this blue ^_^

I went yesterday and picked up the "Cafe Cuties" which is a small sample pack of a few colors - It has Louvre Me Louvre Me Not, Eiffel for This Color & Parlez-vous OPI? I went straight for Louvre, and it's gorgeous. Eiffel is a bit darker than I had anticipated, but still gorgeous.

This is probably the most talked about OPI collection throughout my friends that I have ever seen! lol

Yes, I have. I really liked the color, but it came off really easily (started peeling large chunks in less than 24 hours for whatever reason). I don't know if that's a testament to the polish itself or the lady who did my nails, because I wasn't entirely pleased with her work to begin with.
